Bio:
My name is eren jaeger I'm a junior in high school. I'm 17 years old the person who just yelled through my door is Levi my foster parent I live with him as with his petra who's also my foster parent. They adopted me when I was a year old after my mother died from an illness so she must've thought Levi and Petra were suited for the job to take care for me and as for my father he ran off without saying anything and just leaving my mother with me. Levi is a police officer one of the top ones and Petra well she owns a foster care under us we live in a building containing an upstairs apartment where we live and below us are 12 other rooms which are occupied by the other foster kids. And a main room where the kids play watch tv eat etc. I grew a deep bond with three of the kids because They went through the same situation I did and the foster care is funded by the townsfolk since they all have respect for Levi who tries to keep everyone safe.

I take a look at the clock it was 6:15 am I sat up on my bed. I felt my hair standing on one side and one side being flat. I placed my feet on the rugged floor and walked to my bathroom and brushed my teeth. It was the first day of school which I despise it never goes well for me. I take a quick shower and after the shower I dry myself off tying the towel around me and locking my room door so nobody would walk in. I look within my closet and grab my black nike windbreaker and my black jeans and black nike shoes and a white shirt I prefer to wear black for the first day of school since It prevents me from being noticed.

"Eren your breakfast is ready!!" Petra yelled

"Be there in a minute!"

I grab my phone and earbuds ,slipping the earbuds under my windbreaker to the top. I then grabbed my backpack that was neatly placed on the chair. I grabbed it and placed it on my back. Before I left I caught a glimpse of the red scarf my mother left me. I walked over towards it and picked it up and smiled I began folding it and placing it on my seat. I open the door and walked down the hallway. Already seeing Petra eating a bit as did levi. I place my bag around the seat so it wouldn't fall.

"Morning."

"Morning eren." Petra said while still turned to face the stove

"Morning eren."

"Morning levi and can you stop calling me brat you raised me and I don't act immature so why do you keep calling me that?"

"I don't know force of habit I guess well I gotta get back to work." He stands up and walks over to petra and kisses her Levi wasn't much of a talker so him and I just avoid conversation with each other.

I start eating my breakfast which was just eggs and bacon with two waffles. I ate my breakfast which was delicious since Petra is a good cook. I grab my bag after finishing and thanked Petra . I head downstairs to the entrance when I did reach the entrance I was surprised by all the kids.

"What are you guys doing up so early?"
-
"We just wanted to say have a good first day of school." The boy with black hair said who's name was Alexander one of the kids who I have a bond with said.

"Please eren have a good day." Petra said from behind.

"Yeah." I then walked out going through the kids.

"I'll try." I said aloud.

I never have a good first day of school especially for high school always getting pushed around being invisible which I honestly I don't mind. It just drags the attention all away from me.

"Eren!!!" I heard from behind

"Hey armin." As I wave.

"So you excited?" He says while jogging to my side.

"If your talking about the first day of school then no."

"I understand you never really have a great first day of school but it can be different."

"Probably not."

I'm glad to see armin always happy especially being a popular kid because of his intellect and kindness and great grades. I get good grades don't get me wrong but not as great as his. The school was 2 more minutes away it wasn't too far from the foster care. We starts to see the school off in the distance we were walking through the parking lot of the school. And seeing a few juniors who already got their driving license since around here you didn't have to wait until senior year to drive some started to park and step out of their vehicles and one of the cars which belonged to jean who I despise more than any other kid of this school. He thinks because of he plays varsity for football he can get any girl he wants and thinks so highly of himself due to his parents wealth.just looking at him he looks like a horse that deserves to be put down. And coming out of the backseats was mikasa ackerman who I heard is the most admired and praised girl due to her kindness and looks and respect for everyone and her amazing athletic ability and she is just as smart as armin. As I look at her she looked fairly pretty. I only seen her a few times at school and I guess she had beautiful long black hair. And the next person to come out of the backseat was Annie who is armins girlfriend she's incredibly smart from what armin told me she looks like she gives off a cold attitude.we were walking past him I heard mikasa thank jean for the ride. As she was walking away he was giving her a dirty look.

"Hey mikasa." Armin said I walk ahead a bit

"Hey Annie."

I walk a bit faster I didn't want to be involved with the conversation that they were going to have. I place my ear buds in and walked inside the building to go to my first period class which was science with a woman named ms.hanji who I heard was fun but crazy at the same time.
Mikasa pov:
"Hey armin." I say back to armin while a boy with a black jacket walked by armin.

"Hey Annie."

"Hey armin." Annie then walks up to him and hugs him.

"Hey armin who was that boy that just walked with you?"
-
"Oh eren he's my-." He turns around to see that he was gone.

"Well he's my friend sorry he tends to just to wander off."

"Eren is his name?" I asked to be sure.

"Yeah."
-
"I've never seen him around school?" Annie stated

"Maybe you walked past him a couple of times and you just didn't notice haha eren is very...how should I put it?"

"Invisible?" Annie stated

"I wouldn't say that it's just.....he doesn't like standing out or talk to anybody really."

"Really?" I asked
-
"Yeah he likes talking to me I met him in the first grade he's a nice kid once you get to know him well if he lets you talk to him well anyways I'm gonna go see ya." As armin rubs the back of his head and leaves.

"Have you ever seen him mikasa?"
-
"No....not really."
-
"You have your schedule?" Annie asked
-
"Yeah I have it on my phone let me just get it out." I scrimmage through my little purse and pulled it out I went to my photo gallery and tapped on it and showed it to Annie.

"Lets see what you have for first period....oh science with ms.hanji I have it with her too I heard shes really nice."

"Same here we should get going though the bell is about to ring."

Annie then proceeds to look at the time in my phone.

"Oh yeah your right lets go."

We ran to the entrance and ran through the hallways to look for the classroom.while I looked on my phone too look at the map to find room 104.

"There!" Annie pointed I followed her and the bell rang at the same time we entered the classroom.

We sighed in the relief and took our seats at the final open table. We both sat down as the ms.hanji Walked in. It was quiet for a sec until she slammed her book on the desk and startled everyone.

"HEY KIDS as you may know my name is ms.hanji I teach science 11 and I'm tended to be called a little crazy but FUN but as you may also know I LOVE MY EXPERIMENTS AND PROJECTS. But I don't like any of you to work on it alone so there's gonna be partners."

"Wanna partner up mikasa?" Annie asked

"Sure."

"But don't get to excited because...IM GONNA CHOOSE YOUR PARTNERS let's begin... I'm gonna look at the first name on my attendance...ah ms.ackerman are you here?"

"Yes I'm here." I raised my hand.

"Okay lets see let me partner you up with....eren jaeger....are you here mr.jaeger."

"Yeah.....I'm right here." As he raises hand I look over and it was the same boy that walked by armin.

"Great now mikasa take a seat next to him."

"Um okay." I get my bag and my binder and walked over to him pulling out the seat and placing my stuff there.

"Okay great I'll begin choosing everyone else partner also once you move next to your partners they are gonna be your partners for the rest of the semester AND that will be your permanent seat since I don't want any of you to chit chat and not get your work done."

"Um ms.hanji May I ask what our first project is about?" A student asked.
-
"Ah yes so for this project it's gonna be very simple you are gonna choose any animal in the world and make a poster board with what's their natural habitat what do they like to eat etc. So for now talk to your partner and choose an animal that you guys will do your research on." Ms. Hanji proceeded to write something on the board.

I look over to eren who was just staring out the window he had on his hoodie and arms placed on the table.

"Um...excuse me?" I asked trying to start a conversation he didn't seem to listen as he didn't turn his head. So I just tapped on his shoulder which got his attention.
-
"Hm?" As he turned his towards me and I see his face never seen his face before even when they called his name he was just staring out the window he has amazing eyes like a green emerald but as I look at them they seem empty.

"Hello?" He says

"H-huh oh sorry what animal do you want research about?"
-
"It doesn't really matter to me you can choose." I rummage through my purse to get a pencil I pulled it out but my elbow proceeded to push my binder off the table falling onto the floor. I reached down for it but erens hand reached it before me making my hand got on top of his not even 3 seconds he retracted his hand.

"Sorry."
-
"Its okay." Then he just placed his arms on the table and just looked out the window.

"Hey eren do you wanna research about a swan maybe?"
-
"I told you before it doesn't matter to me I'll research any animal you want to do."
-
"Um a swan it is."
Eren pov:
I still can't believe I got partnered up with mikasa and what's even worst she's my partner for the rest of the year and I won't be able to work on projects alone.

"So when are you free?" She asked.
-
"Huh what do you mean?"
-
"I wanted to know when your available so we can research."
-
"Oh right... anytime I guess."
-
"Um how about tomorrow since it's a Friday like after school is that okay with you?"
-
"Yeah sure."
-
"I guess I'll walk with you tomorrow since I noticed you came here walking with armin."
-
"Yeah I only live a couple minutes away."

Time skip: lunch
The bell rang which meant it was time for lunch. I have lunch after second block and luckily it's with armin since he sent me his schedule the day before to see what classes he had. I walked through the hallways with my earbuds in minding my own business but I felt a shoulder colliding with mine from behind me then another then another then a pair of hands shoved me from behind sending me to the ground.

"Oh my bad jaeger didn't see you there."

"Its quite alright I should've known there was a horse behind me." As everyone stopped in their tracks to watch us dispute.

"What did you say?"
-
"You heard me horse face." He got angry and picked me up by my shirt and raised a fist.

"HEY get to class kirstein." Recognizing the voice I knew it was mr.erwin he is the principal of this school.
-
Jean lets go of my jacket and raises hands to show Erwin he had no hold of me.
-
"Tch." I proceeded to walk to the lunch room without another word.

I walked to the cafeteria which was only 5 ft way from me.

"You okay eren?" Armin grabbing my shoulder
-
"Y-Yeah I'm fine."
-
".....okay well anyways how was your first block class eren?"
-
"It was fine until we got partners."
-
"Oh partners for the first day huh so who's your partner."
-
"Mikasa."
-
"Wait really?"
-
"Yeah hanji paired us up."

"Oh well atleast you got someone who's nice."

"Yeah I guess."
-
We grabbed our lunch and sat down.

"So what's your project about?"
-
"Were just researching about an animal of our choice."
-
"So what animal did you choose?"
-
"I didn't choose mikasa did and we just went with a swan."
-
"Oh thats nice."
-
"Hey armin?"
-
"What?"
-
"We're you bothered at all that Annie was in jeans car?"
-
"Eh no not really we trust each other a lot so I know she doesn't wanna do anything to ruin that trust in our relationship."

"Oh."
-
"When are you gonna date someone?"
-
"Date someone I'd rather not."
-
"Come on eren why don't you give a girl a chance."

"I just don't want to okay armin can we just change the subject."

"Okay sorry."

"So you doing anything after school armin?"
-
"Yeah I have to help my grandpa at his flower shop."

"Oh."
-
"Yeah are you doing anything?"
-
"No I'm probably just gonna help Petra with the kids you know."

"Yeah tell them I said hi Alright."

"Yeah sure."
*bell rings*
"Well its time for us to leave."

"Yeah see ya armin."

"Bye."
Mikasa pov:
The bell rang and it was for time lunch I gathered my things and went to meet up with Annie since we both had the same lunch. We were walking through the hallway to also meet up with Sasha who always has some snack in her hand.

"Hey guys." Sasha said while waving

"Hey Sasha how's your day been so far?" I ask
-
"It's been fine except for second block mr.keith took my snack away and made me run 4 laps around the track for gym."
-
"Well that's what you get for eating all the time." Annie stated
-
"Not my fault I love food."
-
We reached the cafeteria first since the three of our classes were near the gym. Sasha immediately went towards the vending machine. And Annie and I just went to get our lunch.

"So?"
-
"So what?"
-
"How is he like?"
-
"Who eren?"
-
"Yeah."
-
"I honestly don't know to be honest."

"What do you mean you don't know did you talk to him?"

We sat down
-
"I did and he seems like he doesn't care about anything and when I looked into his eyes they seemed empty and...when I accidentally touched his hand it was cold."

"Touched his hand?"
-
"Well I dropped my binder on the floor and I was reaching for it and he was too and then my hand touched his and it was cold."

"How was it cold the room was like 80 degrees."
-
"I don't know but for some odd reason I get the feeling....hes sweet and kind."

"Who are you guys talking about?" Sasha interrupted while holding 15 bags of chips in her hand.

"We're talking about eren."
-
"Eren jaeger?" She responded

"You know him?" I asked
-
"Personally no but he was in my history class last year."

"Really how was he like?"
-
"Well hes the quiet type he doesn't talk to anyone and just shuns everyone from him he always sat in the back in the corner by the window."

"Just like in our science class."

"Yeah and another thing I've never seen him smile he always has a frown on his face I tried to make him laugh but he just asked me not to bother him but he is smart he got 90's on most of his tests."

"Who are you guys talking about?" Jean asking the same question Sasha did.

"Were talking about eren." Sasha answering jeans question.

"Oh that kid he's a total loser."

"Hey don't say that." I said.

"He totally is from elementary till now kids been a total outcast."

"That doesn't matter you don't say that about anyone."

"Tch Whatever eren is a total wimp but anyways do you wanna go somewhere after school mikasa?" Jean asked me.

"No I have volleyball practice."

"Are you mad at me?"
-
"No I just don't wanna hang out with you I just have to go to practice okay."

Jean stands up and leaves with the rest of his friends.

"What was that?" Annie asked

"What?"
-
"I just never seen you get so amped up about someone."

"I-I just don't like anyone saying bad things about other people okay."

"Yeah I understand."

"Let's just forget about it."

Eren pov:
The final bell rings I grab my backpack and walk out of the classroom walking down the hallway. I place my ear buds in while adjust the right ear bud a bit I realized that was the hand mikasa touched. Now that I think about it her hand felt warm something I haven't felt in awhile. I place my hands in my pocket and just walk out the exit. Walking through the parking lot I spotted jean and his goons just standing by his car as if they were waiting for someone.

"What do you want?"

"You know mikasa right?"

"Yeah she's in my class what about her?"
-
"Just make sure to stay away from her don't even try to flirt with her either wait what am I saying it's unlike she's gonna like someone like you."

"Tch Whatever just leave me alone."

"Hey don't walk away when I'm talking to you!"he grabbed my shoulder and I turned and pushed him on the ground all of his friends stared.

"Your gonna pay for that."

I quickly ran as him and friends followed I needed to find somewhere to hide and escape I couldn't go to the foster care or they will find out about me not having any parents and living at the foster care for most of my life. I ran through town running through the park jumping over benches and pushing people of out the way. I reached an alley way hoping it would be a cut though the buildings but it was just a dead end. Knowing what was gonna happen next I turned around to only see them charging at me and jumping me I wrapped my arms around my head so no bruises would be placed against my face and give petra and Levi a reason to worry. I felt my back being kicked being stomped my arms being punched then my ankle got kicked very hard making me yell in pain.

"HEY WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO HIM!!" My eyes widened immediately knowing who's voice that was.

"Mikasa." Jean said

"What are you guys doing to him!?!"

"Well he pushed me to the ground and disrespected me."

"Seriously that doesn't really give you a reason to beat him up and gang up on him."

"Why are you here I thought you had volleyball practice were you lying to me?" Jean said

"I wasn't we don't have volleyball practice but we have workouts so I'm heading to the gym to meet up with the team until i heard a yell from here."

"Tch lets go guys." I heard multiple footsteps walking away and hearing them fade.

"H-Hey Eren are you okay?"
-
"Yeah I'm fine." I try to stand up but my ankle didn't let me.

"Here let me."

"No it's fine I'm okay."

"But you're hurt."

"I don't care I don't need your aagghh I'll manage."

I bent down and grabbed my backpack as I did I looked up to be only met with mikasa face.

"Can I help you to walk back home?"
-
"No I said I'm fine." She brushed her hair back with a Face of concern which made me feel bad.

"But thanks anyways."
-
"Yeah."
-
"Hey this is just a suggestion since you play volleyball. You should cut your hair a bit short so it won't get in the way."

"Um yeah sure...I'll see you tomorrow." I nodded.

I start limping back to the foster care my ankle was hurting with a decent amount of pain but I just ignored it. I reach the foster care and go through the entrance. I see the kids playing I started to walk normally so I wouldn't worry any of the kids but each normal step I take hurts. I say hi to few of the kids and walk up the stairs and open one more door to our apartment.

"I'm home."

"Eren how was your first day of school?"

"It was fine."

Just fine just fine I started getting angry and I proceeded to walk to my room with my dumb ankle and I slam the door and grab one of the pillows on my bed and just screamed into it. It's always the same bull crap with these guys I started to get more angry to the point I started to feel tears run down my face. I went to the bathroom and went to my cabinet seeing a box of razors. I pull one out and place it against my wrist and Make a small cut I just do this to ease the pain. I drop the razor blade and just sat by the bathtub with my back being against it.

"My day was great just great." As I sobbed a bit and I got up changed my clothes washed my wrist and just lay downed falling asleep.
