"Roderich, hurry, we're gonna miss the plane! Why are you so slow?" Elizabeta asked her fiancé.
"I'm tired. Will you get down on your hands and knees and let me sit in you?" He asked.
"Hell no! I am not your servant, I am your future wife! Now hurry up!" She shouted back. He was such a handful sometimes, but she was engaged to him, so she had to deal with all of his 'quirks'. She even spent a whole day convincing him to leave his piano at home.
"Hello, you just made it! Head on in!" The flight attendant said.
"Oh, thank you so much! Roderich, hurry up!"
"Do you think that Vash and Lily are in the plane already?" He asked.
"Probably. Vash is always on time, unlike you." Elizabeta responded.
She was the first one to step on the plane. Roderich was way behind her. "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, RODERICH, HURRY UP!"
When he finally got on the plane, the doors closed behind him and they went to their seats. Vash and Lily Zwingli were already waiting there. There was only one seat, so Elizabeta let her fiancé sit with his friend. The flight attendant escorted her to the nearest free seat. She sat down on the aisle seat and pulled out her book.
"Eliza? Is that you?" A familiar voice asked.
She turned to the side and, sure enough, her old friend Gilbert was there. His red eyes staring into her like they had all those years ago. Only now he was a lot more muscular, and handsome.
"Gil? What're you doing here?" She replied.
"Me and the guys are taking a trip to Cuba. What about you?"
"Oh, right. Remember Roderich? Well, we're getting married in Cuba!"
His crimson eyes widened in shock.
"M-married? To that guy?" She stuttered.
"Yes, him. Is something wrong?" She asked suspiciously.
Gilbert laughed.
"I thought for sure that he was gay! Well, what d'ya know?"
She scowled at him.
"Well, since your so man-ish, isn't it almost like he's gay? I'm mean, he's more feminine than you, not that it's hard to be..." he continued on.
"What's this about being gay?" Francis asked from beside Gilbert.
"Francey, it's Elizabeta! The guy-girl from school! Remember her?"
"Omg, Lizzy! How are you?" Francis asked.
"I'm fine, thank you Francis." She replied, voice still hostile.
Gilbert used to be her best friend in high school. Her parents had wanted her to go to an all boys school, so she dressed as a boy through middle school and high school. Gilbert was the first person at the school she told about her being a girl. Truthfully, she had had a crush on Gilbert for a while, but that was pretty much past her. Or so she thought....

"Peter, hurry up. We don't want to miss the plane." Berwald said in a deep voice.
Despite his scary appearance, he was actually a caring single father. His son, Peter, was 11 and had big dreams.
Berwald had saved up enough money to take Peter on a vacation to Cuba. He brought along his friend Matthias, a Danish man who used way too much hair gel.
"Cut the kid some slack, he's excited!" Matthias replied.
"If we miss the plane, he won't have a vacation. That's all of our savings, gone." Berwald said.
"You really need someone in your life, like a girlfriend. Or maybe boyfriend?" Matthias asked cautiously.
"I am fine on my own. You need someone." Berwald replied.
"Yeah, but I'm not terrifying like you! I could have any of these people around me!"
"Ok, then go." Berwald replied.
"Go what?"
"Get someone."
"No way! I'm just, well, not in the mood for a relationship right now!" Matthias replied.
"Sure," Berwald replied. He looked around, but didn't see Peter anywhere, "Peter? PETER?! Where are you!"
Berwald searched frantically. Though Peter was not his biological son, Berwald continued to care for him since that night. Someone had come to his door and left Peter there, no note, no nothing. Berwald has decided to take in the baby and raise him. He named him Peter.
"Excuse me Sir, but is this your son?" A voice asked.
Berwald turned around and saw a short man with white-blond hair and purple eyes holding Peters hand.
"Peter!! Where have you been?" Berwald asked as he wrapped his arms around the small child.
"Sorry, Papa, I went exploring! I saw some weird people too!" The young boy stated, "Then this guy came and helped me find you!"
The purple-eyed man chuckled. He seemed very feminine.
"Hi, my name's Tino. What's yours?"
"Berwald." He answered. Berwald was a terrifying person. He was tall, had a strong build and had a mean face. He only showed his caring side around Peter.
He could see the fear in Tino's eyes as he spoke. Most people were afraid of Berwald.
"Well, it was lovely to meet you Berwald. Are you going to Cuba, may I ask?"
Peter interrupted, "Yes, Papa got enough money to take us on a vacation!"
"That's enough Peter." Berwald whispered.
"Oh, wonderful! Me and my friends are going too. Have you been before?" Tino asked quickly.
"No, we've never done anything like this before." Berwald confessed.
"Well, what hotel are you staying at?"
"The Grand Cabana." Berwald replied.
"Same here! What a coincidence! Maybe I can show you around, since all of my friends are paired up. There's my friend Lukas, but he has his brother. Then we brought our friend Feliks to be reunited with his childhood crush. So, that means I can hang out with you guys!" Tino babbled.
"That sounds awesome! Can we, Papa, can we?" Peter pleaded.
"Ok." Berwald said silently.
He probably would never admit it, but this man, Tino, somehow intrigued him.
Maybe this was fate?
