Ludwig was walking along the beach, surveying the destruction. He had been lucky. He hadn't received any major injuries, just a small cut on his forehead and many small scratches on the rest of his arms.

He had been protected by Feliciano, his new friend. Feli was a little clingy, but Ludwig still liked him.

Unfortunately, in the crash, Feliciano had been impaled by a piece of the window glass. He said that he was fine, but Ludwig wasn't sure if he would make it.

He sighed. He liked the Italian. Maybe even...more than a friend?

Stop thinking like that this instant, Ludwig. You need to take charge until help arrives.

Ludwig walked along the beach, telling everyone to gather at the rock where Feliciano lay. He wanted to stay close to Feli.

As soon as all of the survivors were gathered, Ludwig stood on the rock.

"Listen up, all of you. If we are going to survive, we need to have order. I suggest that we appoint a leader." Ludwig said, implying that he would lead.

"I agree with Mr. German." Kiku spoke up from the back. He had two large men helping him up.

"Thank you, sir. Now who should the leader b-"

"DID SOMEONE SAY LEADER?" A charismatic voice rang out through the crowd. It was the captain, Alfred.

"I should be in charge be cause I've been especially trained to be the HERO!" He called out as he climbed onto the rock.

"Oh please, Boy Scouts isn't hero training!" A British voice called out.

"But I'm a natural-born leader! Look at me lead!" He yelled especially loud.

From behind the rock, Feliciano groaned. It was too loud. Ludwig looked down on his friend and remembered what he had to do.

"Is anyone here a doctor? We need anyone with first aid training to set up a temporary hospital for the injured." Ludwig said.

"Hey, I'm in charge! All doctors, do what he just said! Jeez, this is hard." Alfred said.

"Well, then maybe we should divide duties. You take half of the survivors, and I'll take the other half." Ludwig suggested.

"Sounds good to me, dawg!"

"Excuse me, Sir, but I'm a doctor." Berwald spoke up.

"Ah yes, my-uh, friend, Feliciano."

"Did you say Feliciano? What's wrong with him? Is he ok?" The other Italian spoke up.

"He was kind of stabbed in the stomach with a piece of glass from the window."

"What?!" He screeched.

"Calm down, mi amigo, he'll be ok." Antonio said as he put his arm on his new friends shoulder.

"Get away from me bastardo, I don't even know your name!" Lovino shouted.

"Antonio. And yours?"

"Tch, Lovino Vargas." He replied reluctantly.

"Lovi~" He said in a fucking adorable way.

Shit nonononono I am not gay. Stop think like that, Lovino.

"Don't call me that, bastard." Lovino spat.

"Big brother?" Feliciano whimpered.

"Feli, you're gonna be ok. You have to be ok. I'm not staying on an abandoned island alone with these bastards."

"It's ok, Lovi, I'll be fine, ve~" Feli said quietly.

"Feli, promise me you'll be ok?"

"I'll be fine. Go help Luddy with setting up camp." Feli said with a smile.

"Tch, I'm not helping that potato bastard. I'll go gather food; that'll be helpful!"

"Don't go alone, we have no idea what's out there..." Feli said as his eyes trailed to the jungle that lay where the sand ended.

"You're injured, who else am I supposed to take?" Lovino asked.

"Mi amigo, I would be happy to accompany you!" Antonio interjected.

"Fine, you can come with me, bastard, but only because Feli said I shouldn't go alone." Lovino spat back.

"Yay!" Antonio giggled as he hugged Lovino.

Lovino looked at the Spaniard and smiled. He was so handsome. His hair was unruly, his smile was bright, and his eyes were like the most beautiful emeralds he had ever seen.

Snap out of it, Lovino, we need to get going!

"Ugh, follow me tomato bastard."

"Ok, Peter, stay back, this isn't something a child should see." Berwald told his son.

"But dad, what am I gonna do? I'm too young to do too much...." Peter replied.

"I'll watch him!" Tino piped up.

"Really? Thank you so much! Sorry for the trouble..." Berwald muttered nervously.

"Hey, I am not trouble!" Peter protested.

"Sure you are, now let's go try and find our stuff! Hopefully some of it hasn't been ruined." Tino said optimistically.

"Ok! Oh, and we have to find uncle Matthias!"

"Ok, and I need to find my friends, they've got to be around here somewhere! Lukas! Emil!"

Ludwig knelt down next to Feliciano as he watched everyone walk away.

"Luddy?" Feli whispers.

"Ya?"

"Stay here with me." He whimpers.

"I have to go, but I will come back as soon as I can." As Ludwig said this, he felt a pang of sadness in his heart.

"Come back as soon as you can..." Feliciano said as he rested his eyes.

Ludwig subconsciously kissed the Italian on the forehead, causing Feli to faintly smile.

Get well soon, Feli. I need you.
