Chapter 2 part 3: Ares past

Ares Found the rebellious demons and vampires in the north. "Well if it isn't the kings little bitch! Why don't you join us, I mean you have betrayed the king once before haven't you?" One of them said. "Shut up!" Ares Yelled as his eyes turned red. "Those eyes!" "The rumors are true?" "Carla actually had the guts to turn someone!" Three of them said one after another. "What is it a shock to you or something? The king isn't a big softie he can be harsh when we wishes." Ares says his eyes still glowing red. Ares slashes at one of the demons using his claws. Yet the demon dodges"Why do you work for him? He has caused you so much pain hasn't he? If you join us you won't have to live in fear of him." One of the vampires say. "Tsk you completely misunderstand I actually like my life at the castle." Ares pulls out his sword and slashes at two vampires killing them. One of the demons charges at Ares slashing him in the shoulder."Ahhhh! That burns!" Ares grasps his shoulder. "It's called poisonous claws. Now I'll finish you off!" The demon says and charges at Ares again but Ares dodges quickly and stabs this demon in the back disabilitating him the other demons and vampires run away. Ares looks down at the demon and knocks him out by kicking him in the head.

 Then Ares grabs the demon and flys back to the castle to see Carla's daughter Shira and her friends playing a game. They were all huddled in a circle except for one who is sitting on the ground covering her eyes. "Kagome Kagome Kago no naka no tori wa itsu itsu deyaru yoake no ban ni tsuru to kame ga subetta ushiro no shoumen dare." They sung while circling around the girl at the end of the game Shira was behind her and she guessed."Shira!" "You got it right." Shira says then she notices Ares. "I think we should wrap up gaming for today so you guys should go home." Shira tells her friends. "Alright." All her friends say and run out of the castle then Shira walks to Ares."What happened to your shoulder? And your covered in blood! Also who is that?" Shira asked Ares. "Your father told me to capture a rebel he is possibly going to give this guy a punishment. Also I'm fine it's just a scratch." Ares says. He drags the body to the dungeon and chains the demon's hands above his head. After Ares is done chaining the demon up he decides to take a bath. He finds clothes that aren't covered in blood and he heads to the bathroom. After he strips down and jumps in the hot shower he thinks to himself. 'Man I really don't like remembering my past mistakes'. Then he remembers his past.

A younger Ares plots to steal a prototype driver. He intends on harming Carla just enough to weaken him. As Ares snuck in the castle he found the prototype driver and stole it. He found the king and attached the driver to his waist yet he didn't know how to use it. "What the hell! How do I use this thing?" Ares says. "You really should learn how to use your weapons, Before you try and pick a fight." Carla says then kicks Ares in the stomach, causing Ares to fall to the ground. "You don't seem like a rebel. You look like a kid who just doesn't know his place." Carla says bending down to meet eye level with Ares who is trying to get up. "But it's inevitable I will have to give you a punishment." Carla says. "N-no I'll never do anything again!" Ares begs. "Don't worry I wont kill you. Although I will have to lock you in the dungeon until I think of a punishment." Carla says as he brings Ares to the Dungeon and chains him up. Ares thinks to himself. 'damn it damn it damn it! This isn't gonna end well for me!' Ares was constantly worrying about what is gonna happen to him. When finally Carla walks in. "I know what I can do to you for punishment." Carla says then he walks to Ares. Carla leans down and bites Ares. Ares screams in pain. After Ares' heart beat slowed down to near death Carla bit into his own wrist and forces Ares to drink his blood. Then after passing out and waking up the next morning. Ares isn't in his bed and is still on the dungeon floor. "Ugh my head hurts!" He grumbles. Then the memories of last night come flooding into his head. "Wait I'm not a vampire am I?" He says as he checks for the bite mark on his neck. Sure enough he finds it and flinches in pain after touching it. "So all of that wasn't a dream?" He said.

Ares is pulled out of his flashback by the nurse of the castle. "I'm here to check your wounds from your previous battle." The nurse says. "Thank you. my shoulder burns from claw marks." He says. The nurse looks at the claw marks on his shoulder. "You were definitely poisoned by a demon's claw alright. Nothing I can't heal." Then the nurse gives Ares some pills and bandages all of his wounds.
