CAMERON'S P.O.V.

after me & Audrey went to ihop, we decided to go to the beach. we went back to the hotel & got changed.

"hey bro, what up?" i heard Sammy say as i was waiting for Audrey.

"oh, we're going the beach, you & Abi wanna come with?"

"sure, I'm gonna get changed & we'll meet you back here in 10?"

"alright, see ya." i said & Sammy left.

"Audrey! Sam & Abi are coming with us!"

"OKAY." she yelled...kinda loud actually.

in 10 minutes, Abi & Sam walked back into the room. they were wearing their swimsuits & stuff.

"hey guys." Abi said as she walked in.

"hey!" me & Audrey said at the same time.

"you guys ready?" i said to no one in particular.

"yeah, let's go!" Abi said. that's one of the few times I've heard her talk...that's kinda weird, she's really pretty & seems pretty out going. her & Sam look really good together, she makes him happy & that's pretty good.

i held Audrey's hand as we walked toward the beach, about halfway there we got stopped by 3 teenage girls.

"CAMERON OMG."

"CAM WHERES EMMA?!"

"HI SAMMY."

"hi girls. she's at the hotel with Jack." i replied.

"probably getting bang. whore." the brunette girl said under her breath. i gave her a glare & she giggled.

"hello gorgeous." sam said to the girl that called for him.

"hey Cam, who's the whore?" the dirty blonde girl whispered into my ear. i wanted to yell at her, but all i said was.

"oh, Audrey? she's my beautiful, amazing, wonderful & perfect girlfriend. and YOU are not!" i replied with a wink & walked away, hand in hand with Audrey.

"CAMMY WAIT! WE DIDNT EVEN GET A PICTURE!" i heard the girls whine. i just kept walking.

"nice job, Gretchen." one of the girls said to, I'm assuming, the dirty blonde girl.

i looked over to Audrey & i stopped walking, causing her to stop.

"what?" she spat.

"hey, relax. why are you so angry?"

"i hate that girls call me shit like that!" she had tears in her eyes & i felt awful.

"i-im so sorry..." was all i could say.

"it's fine. it's not your fault."

i leaned in & kissed her lips softly.

"i love you, Audrey Elizabeth Caniff."

"i love you too, Cameron Alexander Dallas."

DILLON'S P.O.V. {new one😏✌️}

i know, i know. I'm a horrible person. Emma didn't deserve this. i was really mean to her in high school.

i was one of the only people who hated her. besides the girls that were jealous cause she was gorgeous, Cameron's Dallas's sister & the hottest guys liked her. she never dated tho. besides Danny. whatever.

the only reason i hated her, is because Taylor. Taylor & Emma did everything together. it made me so mad, she took my best friend away, he would blow me off for her. ditch me for her. yeah, it's a stupid reason, but i was stupid in high school. i stopped being so mean when Taylor moved. i didn't hate her, i wanted to be her friend. i knew that would never happen.

"I'm gonna go talk to Emma." i announced.

"do you really think that's a good idea?" Taylor said.

"yeah, man. i just need to talk to her. which room is she in?"

"458 with Gilinksy."

"alright, thanks. I'll be back." i said leaving the room.

my heart was racing & my palms were sweating. why am i so nervous?

i stood in front of the door for at least 5 minutes before i could knock.

Gilinksy answered. shit.

"uh, hey bro. i need to talk to Emma."

"no, she do-" he got interrupted by Emma coming to the door.

"Jack, it's fine. Dillon, can you give us a minute?"

i nodded & they shut the door.

5 minutes passed & the door opened revealing Emma.

"come in."

i walked in & didn't see jack, he must've went to one of the other boys rooms.

i sat on the bed awkwardly & she looked at me. "you wanted to talk?"

"oh, yeah. um..i just wanted to say I'm sorry. you didn't deserve any of that in high school, you're parents leaving, your best friends leaving, the love of your life leaving. i know i made it worse. i didn't ever really hate you. & i know you're wondering why? right?" she nodded & i continued "well, i was really jealous of you. you had Taylor, he was my best friend & he was always with you, not me. y'all did everything together & i just got mad." OMG THAT FELT SO GOOD. to finally apologize was amazing.

"d-Dillon. why didn't you just tell me that? you could've hung out with us."

shiiiiiiiit. she's so right. why didn't i do that?!

i stayed silent. she smiled, "all i wanted was an apology Dil, were cool now."

"friends?"

"friends" she smiled & i got up to hug her.

i left the room with a smile on my face❤️

JACK G'S P.O.V.

i was standing in the bathroom the entire time, when i heard Dillon say "...you're parents leaving, your best friends leaving, the love of your life leaving." my heart broke. i didn't realize it until he said it, but everyone Emma cared about did leave.

he left & i came out. she had tears in her eyes.

"babe. what's wrong?"

"i hate everything. everyone i care about leaves me."

"Emma, I'm still here, I'm not going to leave you. ever. Cameron won't either."

"you promise?" she smiled

"i promise." i leaned into kiss her & our lips barely touched & then i kissed harder. i picked her up off the table & took her to the bed. my shirt came off & i was going to take her off, when someone cleared their throat, causing us to stop. it was Cameron. shit.

"oh, hey Cam..." i trailed off.

"what do you want Cameron?" Emma said with some attitude.

"i want y'all to slow down."

"i want you to stay out of our relationship Cam. you're not my dad."

"Emma. we don't have a dad! i have to protect you!"

"no you don't! I'm fine! stay out of it!"

i just sat there awkwardly as they argued.

"Emma, you're not fine! in case you forgot, mom & dad left because..."

"wow Cam." she said chocking down her tears. she got up & ran. "emma! wait!" i yelled after her. "really Cameron?" i said while running past him.

CAMERON'S P.O.V.

what tf did i just do. i didn't mean to say that. i mean, like...ugh.

i ran after her & Jack. i ran for miles & miles & still couldn't find her.
