Starlight's pov

I woke up to see that my face was in the mud. I sat up, rubbing the back of my head which was throbbing in pain. I looked down and noticed a speck of blood had fallen onto my trousers. I wiped my hand over my face and looked at my hand which had blood on it.

My eyes widened as I looked around, not seeing an end to the tall walls of the canyon. I attempted to stand but fell back into the mud. "Hello. Anyone here?!" I yelled, my voice bouncing of the walls but it also sounded different.

"Funny. It sounds like my voice has changed pitch" I pointed out a little confused. "Starlight. Was that you?" someone yelled. "Yes. Who are you and where are you?" I yelled back, looking around. "It's Lily. I'm not sure where we are but we're following the echos so we can regroup" Lily yelled. 'That doesn't sound like Lily. It's not as deep' I thought. "What do you mean by we?" I yelled.

"Lector, Frosch and one of the triplets are with me" Lily yelled back. "Where are you?" I called, looking for them. "Hold on we see you" Lily told me.

I raised an eyebrow before feeling something small tackle my neck and I fell forward. "What was that?" I asked, trying to look behind me. "That was Frosch" someone else replied. I grabbed onto some fabric and lifted Frosch off my neck, sitting up.

I looked at the Exceed in my hand to see a tiny Frosch in an oversized Frog suit. "Frosch, you shrunk" I pointed out in shock. "Fro thinks so too" Frosch replied.

I turned to look in front of me and saw two tiny Exceeds. I recognised them as Lector and Lily instantly. Lector was wearing an oversized blue waistcoat and Lily was using one paw to hold up his oversized trousers and the other paw to hold the rope that held his sword.

"Your all tiny" I pointed out, looking between the three. "We aren't the only ones" Lector replied, I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Look down" Lily explained. I looked down and noticed that my chest had shrunk down. "Wait what?" I asked.

I noticed that my clothes were too big for me and that if it wasn't for the straps, my armour would fall off. "I'm an 8 year old" I yelled. "But it doesn't make sense. I still have all the Scars from after that" I explained in confusion.

"I think Scars don't change but your body size does" Lector replied. "Wait. What about magic. Don't tell me my magic went back to how it was before?" I asked in panic, standing up but falling back down due to my leg.

"I don't know. We have magic proof cuffs on" Lily sighed, pointing to the cuffs. I grabbed Lily's paws and bit the cuffs off, swallowing the metal. "That's disgusting. It's all rusted" I gagged, trying not to throw up.

"I'm guessing rusty metal to you is just like rotten food to us" Lector guessed. I nodded, swallowing my vomit and eating Lector and then Frosch's cuffs.

Lily summoned his wings and hovered a little but couldn't get too far off the ground. "Can we hurry up and get out of here. The mud is getting all over my dress and shoes" the girl whined, looking at her dress and shoes.

"I'll carry you while we look for a way out" Lily suggested, grabbing the back of my clothes, I quickly held onto my trousers before they fell down and tightened my belt.

I was only a few inches from the ground but it was better then nothing. We went through the canyon, finding no way out. "How long have we been going. My feet hurt" the girl whined. "Stop complaining already" I sighed.

"Easy for you to say. Your not even walking" she replied. "I can't even stand and your complaining. If anyone has the right to complain it would be us. We're the ones who have injuries. Not you" I replied, trying not to get mad, if my magic has gone back then I might be more prone to changing form due to Reflection so I shouldn't take any chances.

We kept going but found nothing as I noticed the sun was setting. I noticed a section in the rock that made a sheltered area as I pointed it out to Lily.

He flew over and placed me down as gently as he could and landed next to me with a small thump. "I seem to have gotten clumsier in flying and landing" Lily sighed, grabbing his tail and looking at the spot where a chunk of his fur was gone and a bite mark was with blood crusted on the fur and skin and some blood dripping out.

"I'm sorry about that Lily, I really am. Here" I apologised and ripped a piece of my shirt off and tied it around his tail. "Thanks but what about your injury, your face is bleeding" Lily asked as the others settled down.

"Don't worry. When you've been shot in both elbows, your knee, mouth, eye and chest, a simple Scar on the face isn't too much" I replied. "Your in pain aren't you" Lector asked. "Yes" I replied, dropping my head to look at the ground.

"Fro thinks so too" Frosch replied, snuggling into my stomach. "Guess we should get some sleep" Lector yawned and curled up near me for body heat. Lily nodded and did the same as I lay on my side.

I looked at the girl who was shivering as I sighed. If your cold, just come here. It's better if we all stay warm then one of us getting cold" I told her.

"Fine just don't tell anyone" she snapped. She got up and lay next to me, her shivering calming down now that she was in contact with body heat. I closed my eyes and let myself drift into the welcoming arms of sleep.
