Chapter 5

"Omigod this assignment's taking me forever to write." Paige says whining.

"Paige every assignment takes you forever to write." I say laughing.

Since we had about 3 hours to get ready for the party , Paige decided to work on her assignment which was supposed to be submitted two months ago.

A total slob right?

Well what else can you expect from her anyway? ( I had to literally hide her phone and laptop for her to finally remember her project.)

That's not all. She forgets my birthday every single year and the last time I've ever received a gift from her was seventh grade.

But there's more. I steal her money every year the day before my birthday and get a gift for myself.

Hey a girl can be greedy on her birthday alright?

Evertime I mean.

Just kidding.

Ok I'll shut up.

While Paige was working on her assignment, Evelyn and I were having  the vampire diaries marathon ( well actually only me because Eve hates the vampire diaries and so she is asleep on our couch.)

As I was busy drooling over Paul Wesley shirtless a knock on the door interrupted my beautiful and innocent thoughts.

Emphasis on  innocent.

it better be someone important.

As I open the door I see someone I would never ever expect in my dreams to show up outside my room. (okay I'm over exaggerating but hey they don't call me a drama queen for nothing.)

I see Jake. Yep Jake freakin' Graham.

He must have just showered as his hair's  still wet and he's wearing a plain white t-shirt and dark jeans.

How does that casual attire also look hot on him?

Jeez Maddy shut your stupid brain.

His woodsy cologne though.

Ok really shut up mind and focus on why is he here and not how hot he looks!

"Uh is my brother here?" He asks in his deep voice.

Damn why does he have to be so hot?

Okay okay mind focus on what he just said.

"Um wh-why would he be here?" I say stumbling upon on my own words.

Wow way to embarrass yourself Maddy. I think to myself as I mentally face palm myself.

* inserts the face palm emoji..A thousand times.*

" Oh wait let me think why " he says tapping his head.

"Maybe because he's your boyfriend." He says sarcastically.

I pretend to be shocked as I put my hand on my heart .

" Why thank you Jake I did not know that at all ."

"but he's not here."

"Okay." is all he said before walking away back to I don't know where.

As I go back to drooling over Paul Wesley Paige comes running towards me with a huge grin on her face.

"Maddy guess what just happened?" She says screaming.

"Uh you finally finished your assignment?" I say.

"No you dummy I still have three fourth of the homework left. But the reason why I'm so  happy now is because I found my phone!"
She says stretching the phone part.

Oh no she didn't. She found her lost phone which I had actually hidden? No this can't be happening.

Now who's going to complete her homework?

Definitely not her.

Like duh!

Okay I'm going to her hide phone again tonight and this time it's going to be in my cupboard.

That is only if I come back home sober because I'm one hundred percent sure Paige's gonna spike my drink.

Yeah. Mission: hide Paige's lifeline.

Yes I know this chapter is short but I wanted the whole party thing in a new chapter so I guess this is just a filler.
