"Okay, so how am I looking?" Evelyn asks excitedly.
" Uh probably the same because you're wearing the same thing you wore when you came here?" I say as I see Eve wearing the same oversized black hoodie she wore when she came.
"No! Look, I've put makeup." She says.
" What? No, I don't see any 'makeup' on your face."
"Yes, I did put makeup. Look I've applied lip gloss." She says excitedly.
" LIPGLOSS IS NOT MAKEUP!! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THAT?" Paige says furiously glaring at Eve.
"Uh yes it is. Atleast for me it is." Eve shrugs.
"NO IT IS NOT!"
"YES IT IS!"
"NO IT IS-"
"Okay! We've had enough of this makeup talk."
" We need to get ready too Paige so cut it." I say rolling my eyes at their childish behaviour.
What? Please I'm not childish. Just because I like collecting the stickers I get with the cereal box and because I like colouring outside the lines and because I still talk to my stuffed animals-
Okay whatever, let's move on.
Paige pulls me to her room, her wardrobe cleaned and arranged unlike my terror of a wardrobe.
She somehow manages to pull out a red sundress without displacing the other clothes."So? What do you think?" She asks curious for my reaction.
"Well it's fine I guess?" I shrugged. Probably wouldn't look good on me.
" Just go try it on." Paige ushers me into her bathroom with the dress.
After putting on the dress I look at my reflection in the full length mirror. It was surprisingly pretty.
It was a simple sleeveless dress just the way I liked it and it covered half of my thighs so I was okay with that. The red ribbon at the waist of the dress gave it a better fitting.
Overall I looked okay and for once Paige actually gave me a dress I would actually wear.
But what surprised me the most was how it fit me perfectly as I was nearly 7 inches taller than her 5 feet petite frame.
And the girl wasn't fond of wearing clothes below her knees either so I don't see how this would have fitted her.
As I step out of the bathroom I do an extra dramatic twirl but much to my dismay I end up falling on the ground and land on my butt.
Maybe on purpose. I love myself some good embarrassment.
Just kidding, water has spilt on the floor.
Just my luck.
Paige starts laughing loudly for atleast ten minutes not bothering to help me up.
Okay not ten but still.
"Okay Paige shut up." I say my cheeks still red.
"Okay I'm sorry but-" and she starts bursts out laughing again.
Clearly not sorry.
After another ten minutes of her laughing and me trying to shut her up she finally gives in and stops.
