Fairy Dance, Drinking, and Sadness

Gray POV

I looked at Lucy across the room. She was stunning. Today was the annual Fairy Tail and Allies Dance and I would make it my mission to dance with her.
Natsu casually walked over to her and started to speak, he held out his hand. But Lucy shook her head. The same thing happened with Loke who appeared out of nowhere.
I realized that if I didn't ask her now, someone else would take her. I bumped into Natsu who was mumbling about Lucy not dancing with him.
I quickly took off before he could start a fight with me. I looked at Lucy she was five feet away. I saw Sting standing next to her. "Would you like to dance with me Ms. Heartfilia?" he bowed.
"Of course Mr. Eucliffe. I've been waiting for you for five whole minutes. Gorsh," she answered. I put my head down. She must like Sting. They went into the dance floor and I was steaming in jealousy. I had prepared my suit so it's impossible to take off just for her.
Juvia approached me. She was blushing madly. "May Juvia-chan dance with Gray-sama?" she asked. I was about to say no, but I should at least try to enjoy myself.
"Whatever Juvia," I said. She squealed in joy. I gave her my hand and took her to the dance floor. I looked at Lucy, she quickly turned her head around and was blushing madly.
Was she staring at me? I felt a blush cross my face as well. I looked at Juvia and somehow while we were dancing she was able to swoon. What was her problem. The song quickly ended.
I pulled away from Juvia as quickly as possible. I walked over to Lucy, she was in the middle of a yawn. "Boo!" I said.
"Oh, erm, hi Gray," she said.
A new song came on and her eyes widened. Her mouth went into a smile. "Would you like to dance Lucy?" I asked.
"Of course," her eyes got shinier. We went on the dance floor and started to dance. A tear fell down her cheek.
"Wh-what's wrong Lucy?" I asked, worried.
She looked up, "This is the song that my father wrote for me," she whispered.
"Oh, would you like to sit this one out?" I asked, being the gentleman I am.
"No, of course not," she snapped at me, "You are the only one I want to dance with for this song," she whispered.
She buried her head in my chest. Was she crying? I pulled her closer to me. I looked up and I saw, a camera? I big flash came on a Mira popped up behind it. She made her hands into a heart. I blushed. Lucy wasn't looking but of she were she would be blushing too.
I shooed Mira away. "Hey Lucy?" her head peeked up, "Would you be my girlfriend?" I asked nervously.
She wiped her eyes of tears, then put on a huge smile. "Of course I will!" I smiled too.
"Can I ask you another question?" I asked.
"What is it?" she asked with concern on her face.
"Why, did you tell Sting you were waiting for him?" I asked.
"Well," she blushed, "Sting and I, we met up and~" she trailed off.
"What? I couldn't hear you?" I told her.
"Sting has a crush on Yukino, and I like you so we met up so we could dance together to make both of you, um, well jealous," she blushed more. Then she pointed at them and they were pationately making out and Yukino was as red as a pomegranate.
My mouth went in an 'o' shape. Suddenly a booming voice came on the speaker. "Children!" it must be master, "This signals the end of the dance, everyone go home!" There were groans and yays. Probably because we've been here for 2 hours.
"Lucy, do you want me to walk you home?" I asked her.
She shook her head, "It's alright, Erza said she'd walk me home because we came together because we went dress shopping together, because we got coffee together and yeah, plus my room is a MESS!" she exaggerated.
I scratched my head and shook it up and down, "You should see my bedroom," I said, because it was really a mess. But then I realized how that sounded, and I blushed. Lucy was blushing also. I turned my head and I saw Juvia and Natsu talking. And Natsu had a VERY serious look on his face and Juvia was crying. That was odd. They really don't speak that much, alone.
Lucy started walking away, "Bye Gray," I saw her leave with the red-head.
"Bye Lucy!" I shouted back.
Natsu started walking towards me, "Gray, what's going on with you and Luce?" he asked. I could FEEL the jealousy radiating off of him.
"Oh, we're dating," I said like it was nothing.
He growled. Then Juvia walked towards me and as if on que, Natsu walked away.
"Hey Juvia," I said.
"Juvia heard that you and Lucy-San are dating. Juvia needs to talk to you about that. Meet Juvia on the bridge outside of Lucy-san's house, in five minutes" she instructed me. I just nodded my head unsurely. I was hoping that Juvia would give me a girl's advice about Lucy.
