A few weeks passed, haven't talked to Kaiden since. Me and Sapphire are friends. We hang out a lot. But every once in a while I catch Kaiden staring at me. But he doesn't talk to me.
I was invited to this party tomorrow night. I know I'll be able to go since it's on a Saturday and all, but I don't know if I want to go. Sapphire is trying to make me go. I just don't know very much people there.
The bell just rang and I need to get to my next class. So I get up to leave. And I trip. And people start to laugh.
"Are you ok?" Said the teacher, Mrs. Kiley.
"Yes. I'm fine ma'am." I say.
"Ok." Mrs Kiley says.
I grab all of my stuff and head out of the room. With a small limp. I head to my locker and grab my social studies book.
I'm glad. I Have this class with Sapphire and Kaiden. Not like he notices me anyway.
I walk in and I sit next to Sapphire.
"Hey, Sapphire," I say with a little anger in my voice.
"Hey. Are you ok?" She says.
I guess she notices the anger in my voice now.
"No. No, I'm not." I say with a lot of anger in my voice.
"What happened?" She asked.
"I'll tell you later, ok?" I said.
"Ok," She said.
I look around the room and I stop when I see Kaiden. Kaiden the guy I like. Even though we have only talked like twice. The more I think about it the more I wonder if he will ever notice. When I stop thinking about and my vision comes back I see that Kaiden is watching me stare at him.
Great. He probably thinks I'm one of the girls that crush on him. I mean I am, but I don't want him to know just yet.
The bell rings and I jump, dropping all of my stuff on the floor. Again. I bend down to get my stuff, and someone bent down next to me. I expected it to be Sapphire, but it wasn't, it was Kaiden. He grabs my books and hands them to me.
"Hey," He said.
"Hi, and thanks," I say.
"No problem," He says with a small smile.
"So, you going to the party tonight?" He says.
"Are you?" I say.
"I asked you first, but if you really want to know yes I'm going," He says with a full on smile and I can't help myself but I smile too.
"Yea I'm going," I say
"Cool. I'll see you there then" He says
We head in opposite direction. I head over to Sapphire.
"Hey, Courtney!" She says with so much excitement in her voice.
"Hey," I say
"So I heard you're going to the party now!" She says
"Yup," I say.
Finally, the last bell rings and I can head home. Its Friday so that means the party is tomorrow. I need to find something to wear. Not too classy, and a little bit trashy. So how about My shorts with my crop top? Hmm. Why not.
I set the outfit on my desk and head downstairs. I get a little snack and call Sapphire. I end up heading over to her house and we pick out an outfit for her.
"How about this one?" She asks
"No, it's too trashy," I say
"Fine." She says
I grab a dress that shows her stomach and it isn't like a dress-up dress.
"What about this?" I say
Her eyes got bright with a little sparkle so I'm guessing yes.
"Oh my god! I totally forgot about that!" She exclaim's.
"So, is that a yes?" I ask
"Yes!" She yelled. She sounded so happy I couldn't help but laugh.
