Facing the Real World

Iya's POV

Maaga akong nagising... Monday na pala... 3days na since I left my Dad's home.. Well, last Saturday night while I was scrolling through my Facebook, nakita ko yung notices ng University kung saan nagtapos ng college ang mom ko sa hometown nya which is hours of drive like 3 hours or 4 but that doesn't matter anyways... And I saw this notification na nagha'hire sila sa office ng staff... I submitted my application and luckily last night I was runged by another school staff... Who told me that I'm already hired as their staff/guidance councel and I was to start today... Time Check: 3:30am... Of course, I ate my breakfast then showered... Facundo was all ready when I went out...

I'm wearing a casual black tee and a skinny denim pants matching with my killer black boots.. My hair was fixed up with small curls sa end... Time Check: 4:30am

At exactly 7am nakarating kami sa place safely... It's not just any town.. It's a city proper... It's the city of Balanga, Bataan... Wow! It's not that bad as I've expected...

And the school's name was.... RHSU... As in Rousseau Henderson State Universty ... Just woahhh! I'm gonna work na.. For the first time! At sa Main campus pa ako na'assign... Para sa isang baguhan sa gantong industry this is not bad after all... I know I can do this... Since I worked in Paris for 2 years for the same job... But that was for my field study...

I'm excited but a bit nervous as my ferrari enters the gate of the University... Everyone was looking our way as Facundo drives my car inside the school vicinity

... And as we reached the parking area... I went down the Ferarri and walked my way through the office.. Well as of the moment I was wearing my shades on dahil matindi ang sikat ng araw... Well, si Facundo? Ayun pinabalik ko na muna sa Tagaytay dahil marami pa syang dapat gawin dun.. Of course he was riding my ferrari... I'll just ring him when it's time to pick me up...

I knocked on the office door... And someone opened it... This lady is much more of gorgeous at mukhang nasa age ko lang rin... She even looks like a model/artist than a school staff... "Hello, my name is Shayne Elise Villania... I'm the dean's secretary..." she greeted me with a sweet smile and she was offering a hand... I grabbed her hand and shook it.. "Uhmmm.. hello there.. I'm Iya Hepburn... and I'm looking for Miss Gee Mauricio.." i said... "Come In..." she said then lead me inside the office...

"Oh! Miss Hepburn... She's here? How delightful! That's magnificent..." i heard over a voice like Effie Trinket ng Hunger Games with that capitol accent saying my name aloud... "Exchange student po ba sya Ma'am?" si Ms. Shayne yung kausap nung boses at sya rin ang nagtanong... "No... She's the new staff.. Our new guidance councel..." sagot ulit nung ka'voice ni Effie... "She's too gorgeous and she looks so young to be one Madam..." sabi ulit ni Ms. Shayne which flattered me dahil sa edad ko na 24 lagi ako napagkakamalan na nasa teen age ko pa lang... Natawa naman yung kaboses ni Effie at biglang sumeryoso... (Bipolar lang?!) "She's 24, Miss Villania...tara na!" then she chuckled... "Really? Mukha siyang freshman madam..." sabi ni Ms. Shayne tapos nun may sumarang pinto hindi na sumagot yung kausap nya...

The next thing I knew... Two stunning ladies are already infront of me... nagpakilala na yung kaboses ni Effie... "Hello Iya... I am Miss Gabvhy Angela Mauricio... Ako ang dean ng school..." she said at inabot nya ang kamay nya to shake she looks a bit young around her early 30's para maging dean ng isang University na may limang branches, but oh well... "Oh, Hi there! Miss Mauricio... It's my pleasure to finally meet you, I would like to properly introduce myself... I am Jhaeian Sofheia "Iya" Laurel Hepburn.. at your service..." sabi ko taking her hand then I shook it... "What a pretty name which matches your pretty face dear..." she said with a big grin... "Thanks for the compliment Miss Mauricio.." I said and then we started talking about my job and how it's gonna be... And they even asked the student council president to accompany me as I roam around the school...

A/N: Sa kadahilanang ayaw na ni Iya na dumepende sa mga magulang mas pinili niya na magtrabaho para mapatunayan sa kanyang daddy na kaya nyang mabuhay kahit wala ito... At dahil nakatapos siya ng degree sa France ay madali naman siyang nakahanap ng trabaho...
