Chapter 17

One Year Later...

"Guys!" Charlotte screaming running towards the usual lunxh table. Maya, Summer, Jack, and Reid looked over. "What now? You got in another Tide commercial? Congrats." Reid said. "No!" She yelled showing them 5 tickets to California. "Were going to Cali!"

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
I woke up with a yawn, turning the other way to turn my clock off.

I sat up looking around, thinking for a bit.

ITS SATURDAY!!

A big smile crept upon my face and I took my clothes and ran to the bathroom to get ready. I did my business and got ready for the day. Today all my friends and I were going to the mall. But this was not any regular mall trip.

Today's my birthday.

I walked out, wearing a (F/C) top and dark blue jeans. I stepped into the kitchen to see my friend, Ysabele, making pancakes. "Mm... That smells good." I complimented walking over to her. "Y/N! Oh my god, happy birthday!!" She yelled excitedly and running over to hug me. "Where's Landen?" I asked, probably knowing the answer already. "..She's at work, she had to cover for someone." Ysa said with a slight frown. "But thats okay, she'll be here later! Now you eat and I'll get dressed, then we can leave and go shopping~!" Ysa yelled in a sing-song voice before running off to her bedroom. I giggled, shaking my head before sitting down and eating.

(Charlotte's POV)

"This one." Summer said stopping, Reid, Jack, Maya and I followed. "This place looks like it came out of a horror movie, are you sure this is the right apartment?" Reid asked looking at me. "I'm sure! Thats what Y/N said.. Last year." Summer took a deep breathe, "Well let's just hope this is the one." Summer said about to knock. Right as she was about to knock, the door opened. A guy with blonde wavy hair opened the door looking confused. He had a guitar case slung over his shoulder. "Can I help you?" He asked, his head tilting to one side, slightly. "Err.. Yes! Does Y/N L/N and Julian Albans live here?" Summer asked. "Julian does." The boy said softly. "Want to talk to him?" He asked stepping back into his apartment. We all nodded, and he nodded back, closing the door. A few seconds later Julian walked to the door with the guy, he left waving at Julian. "What are you guys doing here?" Julian asked, his hair was swept to one side, a bit longer since the last time we seen him. "Julian! How are you?" Jack said, stepping up towards him. "Jack, hey I'm fine, how about you guys." "We're good." Jack said with a nod. "Where's Y/-" He cut her off. "She doesn't live here anymore, she hasn't lived here for a year even, uhm if you want to see her then go to the mall. She's heading there right now. For her birthday." Julian said quietly before closing the door. I held it open, looking at him. "Can we come in? We want to talk to you too." I said with a frown. Julian looked behind at his living room, and bit his lip, before nodding and opening the door, and stepping aside to let us all in.

"Why aren't you going with her, to the mall?" I asked after we all sat down on his couch and chairs. I was sitting on the couch with Summer and Jack, while Reid and Maya sat on tall stools. "I wasn't invited." Julian said simply before sitting down on another one of the tall stools. "Why? You're her boyfriend right?" Maya asked confused, all of us looking at Julian. "We broke up a few months ago." Julian said before the room got quiet. He sighed. "You know what, thanks guys for coming, I'll talk to you later or whatever." Julian said getting up. Everyone quietly respecting that, since this really seems like a bitter subject. Everyone walked out, giving Julian a small "goodbye" or short smile before they walked out. I left last, turning around. 

"Julian?"

"Yes."

"Sorry." I said, he looked down knowing I was talking about the break up.

"It was my fault." 

I walked out, and heading to the mall.

(Your POV)

Ysa drove up to one of the parking spots, and luckily, we got a good spot. We got out the car seeing our friends wave at us from afar. I grinned walking over to them, earning a "happy birthday" from all of them. Ysa forcefully tapped my shoulder and turned me to the parking lot. Liam. My eyes widened and I looked at all of them. "Who invited Liam?!" I asked, frantically making sure I looked okay.

A month after Julian and I "broke up" I've had eyes for Liam. Well I think I do. I try to love him more than Julian, ever since what happened, to get my mind off him. 

I felt hotness crawl up my neck and to my whole face as he walked over. His guitar case was slung over his should with the strap. He is really one of the best guitar players I've seen. He walked over in front of me. "Hi, happy birthday." Liam said with a big smile. I stared at him for a few seconds, one of my friends, Mea, pushing me towards him more. "Thanks." I said with a smile. "Alright! Let's go." I said fixing the awkwardness. Just then everyone walked towards the mall. "Later after this we're going to spend the rest of the time at Kailee's house, since she has a lot of space." Ysa said and I nodded. 

Hey guyss sorry I haven't updated this, or any stories in a while. I havent had time to write stories recently and only roleplay once in a while. Summer break is coming up so I will be updating this book a bit more. Thanks y'all for reading and being here simce the start, and if your new, I hope you like the story!
