Chapter 5: The Lost Bottle of Dust

ADRIEN: "But Father please-"
GABRIEL: "I said no. And that won't change."
ADRIEN: "But Felix will have no place to stay."
GABRIEL: "My decision is final, Adrien."
ADRIEN: "Father, he is my friend!"
GABRIEL: "And what difference does it make? You have that friend of yours who got glasses and headphones and an irritating way of talking to people! But I don't even let him stay in this house even for an hour!"
ADRIEN: "His name is Nino, Father."
GABRIEL: "Whatever. Leave your friend, now! We already have too many guests."
...
Adrien whispered so soft only Felix could hear,
...
ADRIEN: "We don't even have guests."
...
Adrien and Felix walked out of the house and stopped at the huge gate.
...
FELIX: "This never would've happened if you haven't lost it!"
ADRIEN: "It was an accident!"
FELIX: "Argh! Rosela will be so mad."
...
(FLASHBACK:
While Bridgette and Marinette started walking home, Rosela told Adrien and Felix to stay for awhile.
When the two girls were out of sight, Rosela took out a tear-shaped bottle out of her jacket pocket. It got a dark violet colored dust inside it.
...
ROSELA: "Now Adrien, take good care of this bottle. It contains the dust that you should put on Gabriel Agreste so that, he will agree to let Felix stay at your house."
ADRIEN: "Of course."
...
Adrien took the bottle and placed it inside his bag. He gave it a slight pat then smiled.
...
ADRIEN: "This thing will be secured."
...
Rosela nodded then headed back to her house to transform and go on to her mission.
...
ADRIEN: "Come on, Felix."
...
Felix nodded and the two started walking home.
As they walked, the two talked about each other's lives. They kept a low voice on the topic they loved most. Something they really have in common: their love for their Ladybug.
...
ADRIEN: "Haha! Ouch! That must've hurt!"
FELIX: "Yeah. I felt terrible when she rejected the rose I gave her. How about you?"
ADRIEN: "Well, I gave my Ladybug a rose. She accepted it and I also left a kiss on her cheek. Rosela told me that Ladybug blushed after I kissed her."
FELIX: "Wow. You have better progress than I am. Maybe you could teach me some of your moves!"
ADRIEN: "Sure. When we get home."

The two talked some more about Ladybug until Felix finally realized something,
...
FELIX: "Uhm. I thought you have a car. Where is it?"
ADRIEN: "I asked Dad earlier if I could walk on my own from school today. He agreed only if I will be at home on time. If I had known that I will have someone with me to bring home, I shouldn't have said that."
FELIX: "No, it is ok. I walk from school myself anyway. Uh... what time should you be at home, Agreste?"
ADRIEN: "Oh it is... OH NO!"
...
Adrien saw in his phone that it is already 2:30!
...
ADRIEN: "I should be at home in 30 minutes!"
FELIX: "Let's run!"
...
The two ran as fast as they could until they reached the Agreste Mansion. The two were hyperventilating.
Adrien checked the time on his phone. It says 2:52 p.m.
...
FELIX: "Nice run!"
ADRIEN: "Good thing we arrived before 3:00 sharp!"
...
Adrien pushed the doorbell. A camera popped out and a voice talked to him.
...
NATHALIE: "Come on in, Adrien."
...
The huge gate openned and Adrien and Felix walked in.
Just when Adrien was about to open the door,
...
FELIX: "Adrien, the dust."
ADRIEN: "Oh. Right. I'd better take it out... now. Oh no! No! No! No!"
FELIX: "What is it?"
ADRIEN: "The bottle. It was gone!"
FELIX: "Look harder! It must be in there!"
...
Adrien did look harder.
...
ADRIEN: "It's not here!"
FELIX: "Maybe your kwami ate it?"
...
Adrien glared at him.
...
FELIX: "Sorry. It's just that... we have the same kwamis and mine seems like, he could eat everything."
...
Adrien's kwami, Plagg, poked his head out of Adrien's coat. Plagg spoke to Felix.
...
PLAGG (Adrien's kwami): "Why would I eat dust, kid?!"
...
Felix's kwami, who is also named Plagg, poked his head out of Felix's backpack.
...
PLAGG (Felix's kwami): "And I don't eat everything. You always stop me."
...
Adrien looked curiously at Felix's kwami.
Just then, the door to the house openned.
...
NATHALIE: "Come on in."
...
Adrien urged Felix to go in with him. Felix followed him. Both boys stopped when they saw Gabriel Agreste, Adrien's father, glaring at them from up the stairs.
That is where the argument started. Adrien was trying to convince his Dad to let Felix stay. But Gabriel only denied until he got them dismissed.
END OF FLASHBACK)

(BACK TO PRESENT TIME)
...
ADRIEN: "We have to find that dust."
FELIX: "Yeah. I haven't experienced sleeping on the ground before and I have no intention of making my first time."
...
The two hurried out of the house and hid behind a post.
When they made sure that nobody will see, they let their kwamis out.
...
ADRIEN: "Hey. Your kwami is bigger than mine."
FELIX: "Yeah. And really annoying."
ADRIEN: "I know how you feel."
...
Then, the two transformed.
...
ADRIEN: "Plagg, Claws Out!"
FELIX: "Plagg, Claws Out!"
...
When the two finished transforming, they jumped from roof to roof together. They went back to the roads where they walked then ran by earlier.
After 3 hours of searching,
...
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "Still got nothing!"
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "Me, too." *sighs*
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "Maybe we should call Dragonfly now."
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "This makes me nervous."
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "You have to. It is your fault, anyway."
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "Could you please stop reminding me?"
...
Adrien's eyes widened.
...
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "I thought you didn't know who Dragonfly is."
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "I figured... since this is a Miraculous Dimension, Ms. You-Know-Who could be Dragonfly, too."
...
Adrien nodded and took his stick. A part of it came up and it turned into a phone.
Adrien dialed Dragonfly and the girl answered quickly.
...
DRAGONFLY: "What is it?"
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "I lost it."
DRAGONFLY: "What's it?"
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "The dust."
...
Dragonfly's jaws fell. She became mad about it.
...
DRAGONFLY: "WHAT?! W-what happened?! I thought I told you to take good care of it! What did you do?!"
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "I'm sorry. It was an accident. Maybe when I was running towards home, it fell out of my bag without me or Felix noticing."
...
Dragonfly understood. But she is still mad.
...
DRAGONFLY: "Fine. Meet me at my house on the roof quickly. Ugh!"
...
Then, she ended the call.
Felix looked at Adrien sympathetically.
...
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "Maybe she was just like that because she is on a mission."
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "Yeah. She hates it when she gets disturbed when she is doing something. Specially if it is a very important mission. And in this case, it is a very important mission."
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "Don't worry anymore about it, ok? Let's just go. We don't want her to be even more angry because of us being late."
...
The two Chat Noirs jumped from roof to roof again as quickly as they could.
When they arrived at the roof of Rosela's mansion, they looked around... but Dragonfly was nowhere to be found."
...
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "Maybe we got here first?"
DRAGONFLY: "Not exactly."
...
The two turned to their left and saw Dragonfly furiously flipping pages of a book.
...
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "Dragonfly, we don't have time to be reading books. We have to find the-"
...
Felix nudged him.
...
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "That is no ordinary book. That is a spell book, silly!"
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "Huh?"
...
The two Chat Noirs just watched at Dragonfly, hoping that the girl would find the spell quickly. After 5 minutes,
...
DRAGONFLY: "Aha! Finally!"
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "You found a spell to make a new dust?"
DRAGONFLY: "No. A Lost and Found Spell."
...
Adrien walked to Dragonfly's left and Felix to her right. Felix read the description of the spell.
...
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "An object gone missing, it causes great strife. Nothing is more troublesome in life. So set out these items, so near and dear, and whisper above them when the moment draws near."
DRAGONFLY: "All I need are 5 gardenia petals, 2 tears of human grief, a beloved object... hmm. Maybe mine. Then, a the breath of a fairy and a skin of a newt! I have all of them!"
...
Dragonfly closed  the book. That's when Adrien noticed that the spell book have a leather brown cover with a gold fire-breathing dragon in the middle of it with emerald stones on it's four corners.
...
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "Great. Now Dragonfly will be a witch and Felix and I will be warlocks."
DRAGONFLY: "Yeah. Because of you. Now come, you two. No more arguing."
...
Felix patted Adrien's shoulder then jumped inside Dragonfly's room. Adrien followed. With a snap of her fingers, Dragonfly turned her room into what seemed like a witch's lair.
The three set to work immediately.
Dragonfly does the spell while Adrien and Felix hands her the ingredients. When she was finally done, Dragonfly whispered the spell so soft and true.
...
DRAGONFLY: "What has been lost, can still be found. Rise, all the spirits from the cold ground. Your help is needed when searching round."
...
A sparkling green ray circled Dragonfly from her feet to her head. Then, it placed itself in front of her and formed into an orb.
Then, the orb slowly disappeared and in it's place, a tiny tear-shaped bottle with dark violet dust appeared.
...
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "There it is!"
...
Adrien took it gently then looked at Felix, then to Dragonfly who is still frowning at him.
...
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "I'm so sorry about my interuption to you."
...
Dragonfly smiled.
...
DRAGONFLY: "It is ok, Agreste. It was an accident anyway. I'm so sorry for being mad at you."
...
Felix walked up to them and placed his right arm around Adrien.
...
DRAGONFLY: "You two best be on your way. Gabriel Agreste is worried sick!"
CHAT NOIR (Adrien): "How'd you know?"
...
Dragonfly just snapped her fingers again and her room turned back to the way it was before it became a witch's lair.
...
CHAT NOIR (Felix): "Magic."
...
Then, the two saluted to Dragonfly and took off.
Dragonfly flew to the other direction to continue in her own mission.
Before they go to Agreste Mansion, they de-transformed  behind the same post in which they transformed. Then, the two Plaggs hid inside their owner's bags. The two boys hurried to the doorbell. Adrien pushed it and the same camera popped out. Only a different voice was heard.
...
GABRIEL: "Adrien! Get in, now!"
...
The gate openned once more and Adrien walked in. He looked beside him and realized that Felix wasn't following him.
...
ADRIEN: "Come on. We got it, right?"
...
He meant the dust.
Felix nodded and ran to Adrien just in time before the gate closed.
Adrien openned the door and he saw his father once again, glaring at him and to Felix in front of his office's door.
...
GABRIEL: "Where have you been?!"
ADRIEN: "I-I just... helped my friend here, Felix, to look for another place where he could stay, Father."
GABRIEL: "And?"
ADRIEN: "We found nothing."
...
Adrien was about to take the bottle of dust out when Gabriel palced his hand on Adrien's shoulder. This made Adrien's and Felix's eyes widen.
...
GABRIEL: "You may let your friend stay here for awhile, son."
...
Adrien beamed up.
...
ADRIEN: "Really, Father?!"
GABRIEL: "Of course. Since I have a visitor who will stay with us for awhile, too."
ADRIEN: "Huh?"
...
Gabriel Agreste isn't really the one to let a person stay in his house. So to let Felix stay without using Rosela's magic really is a miracle. And now that Adrien just heard his Dad say that they have another visitor to stay with them for awhile really shocked Adrien."
...
ADRIEN: "Father... who is-"
...
As if on cue, a tall man with white hair and gray eyes walked in from Gabriel's office. The man was wearing a red dark violet shirt with white coat and white pants like Gabriel's. The man was also wearing a pair of red shoes. He also have a black butterfly pin on the right side of his coat.
The man smiled at the two boys. Adrien and Felix smiled back.
But outside the Agreste Mansion, on top of a building, two girls were looking at Gabriel and his visitor, Adrien, and Felix through their binoculars.
Dragonfly's finger glowed light violet and is now dimming. She used her magic to make a pin for Gabriel's visitor so that he would not know who Felix is and for Felix not to know who the man is.
Ellen Fiera looked at Dragonfly.
...
ELLEN FIERA: "Well, Princess. It seems like we found the person we've been looking for."
...
Dragonfly looked at Ellen Fiera worriedly then to the Agreste Mansion where Adrien and Felix are now handshaking Gabriel's visitor.
She stood up, straight and tall then whispered underneath her breath,
...
DRAGONFLY: "Be careful, kitties. Please."
