Chapter 17: Dark Winged Pirates

As soon as the chaos was down, Rosela, Ellen, Jack, Marinette, Adrien, Bridgette, and Felix, Chezka, Kagami, and Luka decided to get a move on. It's been a few days and they haven't reached Calda (The place where the Di-Gem is.)
Adriexe decided to come along.
Ellen Fiera is the one who urged Rosela to let him.
Rosela agreed in a grump and Ellen used her upgraded book.
It became a giant book that can be rode on.
...
ELLEN FIERA: "Prince Ben is right. That upgrade can be used."
...
So, all of them moved on. They flew up in the sky in another uneasy silence.
...
FELIX: "You know what, I'm sick of all this silence. Somebody talk!"
BRIDGETTE: "You already did."
FELIX: "Psh."
...
Seconds of silence came and finally, everyone laughed.
...
ROSELA: "That was a good one."
ADRIEXE: "Yeah."
...
And more awkward silence came.
Felix looked at Rosela. Then at Felix.
...
FELIX: "Ok. What is up with you, two?"
BRIDGETTE: "Not now, Chat!"
FELIX: "Nah. Come on. Speak up!"
ROSELA: "What are you talking about Felix?"
FELIX: "I know that you know."
ROSELA: *sigh*
...
No one spoke. Not Rosela, or the Prince.
...
FELIX: "Oh come- woah!!!"
...
Felix dodged an attack.
...
FELIX: "Where did that come from?!"
BRIDGETTE: "Up there!"
...
Bridgette pointed to a floating pirate ship.
...
MARINETTE: "What is that?!"
ELLEN: "Those are flying pirates. They love the life of a pirate. You know, stealing, kidnapping... those kind of things."
JACK FROST: "Seems like they want something from us. What could it be?"
...
Everyone looked at each other. Realizing that in theur group, they have the Enchanted Princess, the Prince of Animaria, an O.C., and a lot of people who doesn't belong in there.
That would cause serious loot as ransom.
Soon, three men in black shirts, pants and angel-like wings came below, two of them carrying whips and one of them carrying a whip and a sword.
...
ROSELA: "Watch out!"
...
All three men attacked them.
rosela magically gave each one a sword and a shield.
The heroes tried to attack back but it has become real hard. It seems like their powers are weakening. Even the dragons' firebreaths are weakening around them.
...
ROSELA: "Ok. What is going on?! Why are our powers weakening?"
ELLEN: "I thought we are the ones who should've been asking that question!"
...
Ellen answered her while trying to dodge another attack.
The Miraculous heroes can't transform because Chezka, Luka, and Kagami are in there.
Their attackers soon found a way to defeat them.
They whipped the dragons in their face a few times while still being careful for a few weak firebreaths.
The dragins became dizzy and the riders lost control. Jack and Adriexe helped by trying to calm the dragons down and try to get them back to their senses.
But their attackers were fast and they used their magic to make magical ropes to tie them up. Each rope is pointing at each person. The ropes came fast that the only ones who have been able to dodge it are Adriexe, Marinette, Adrien, Bridgette, and Felix who jumped out of the dragons and fell to the sky. As for the book that Adriexe has been riding on, as soon as Adriexe jumped off, the book transformed into it's original size and Adriexe caught it just in time before they all hit the ground.
Adriexe learned how to use it because of his lessons back at his castle and he made the Ellen's book go back into a big one and catch all of them.
Adriexe saw that their attackers were already taking Rosela, Ellen, Jack, Chezka, Luka, and Kagami as hostages into their flying ship.
...
MARINETTE: "We need to get them!"
...
Adriexe used his magic to make the book go faster.
But as soon as he attacks their leader who is behind their prisoners, this leader felt them coming, turned around and hit the book with his whip.
Adriexe lost control of the book and they completely fell to the ground.
...
FELIX: "We're going to die!!!"
...
Everyone screamed.
...
ADRIEXE: "Not on my watch."
...
Adriexe used his magic to make something like a soft barrier in front of them so that, they could land safely to the ground.
The four did land safely to the ground.
But not Adriexe.
Adriexe accidentaly bumped his head on a big, hard rock and lost consciousness.
...
ADRIEN: "Oh no! What are we gonna do? The others are taken captive, Adriexe lost consciousness, and we are lost in a... jungle?!"
MARINETTE: "Don't worry. We'll find a way ti set things right."
ADRIEN: "And go back home?"
...
Marinette smiled and placed a hand on Adrien's shoulder.
...
MARINETTE: "And go back home."
BRIDGETTE: "Well, for now, we have to survive for a few hours in here. We have to wait until Adriexe wakes up."
...
Everyone sighed and starts to make a camp while praying that Adriexe will finally wake up and their other friends be ok.
Back at the Flying Pirate Ship, the pirates introduced themselves as the Dark Winged Pirates.
Rosela and Ellen tried to use their magic but it really did not work!
Finally, they gave up a bit and let their attackers drag them down the boat and tie them up while they are inside a cell.
Rosela is actually shocked that the ship is too big, the pirates have cells for their prisoners.
Each one of then are in a cell.
Rosela sat down to the floor of her cell while her hands are tied up by a magical rope.
Suddenly, a boy, not older than sixteen, came in and looked at her in her cell.
Now that she is tied up, Rosela could study his features.
Black hair, deep brown eyes, black wings, a well built body, and a handsome face.
Rosela thought,

ROSELA: "If he isn't evil, I'd think he is a prince because of his features. Too bad he is evil, his features might as well go down a sinkhole."
...
The boy openned her cell.
He bent down to her and Rosela looked down. The boy placed his hand on her chin to make her look to his eyes. The boy leaned in closer to Rosela. But just as his lips touch hers, he spoke.
...
?BOY?: "Well, well. What a nice surprise."
...
Then, the boy left her alone.
When the boy is gone, Rosela asked the others.
...
ROSELA: "Is everyone ok?"
ELLEN: "Yes."
LUKA: "I think so."
KAGAMI: "A bit."
CHEZKA: "Terribly not!"
ROSELA: *sighs* "Let's just hope the others eho escaped are ok. Geez. This mission became harder than I thought it would be."
