Tzuyu and I decided to buy some hamburgers and soda in the first fast food chain that we saw.

Toot toot!

While we were eating, her cell phone suddenly buzzed, but she just looked at it and continued eating.

"Aren't you going to reply?" I asked.

"I'll do it later, Unnie."

"Okay then," I just smiled at her, when I suddenly thought of a topic. "Tzuyu-yah, should we talk about ourselves while we're still eating?"

She nodded. "I'm fine with that, Unnie."

"I'll ask you first.." I took a deep breath. "I'm going to be straightforward, okay?"

"Go ahead."

I better ask this now, than die of curiosity later.

"How are things going with your boyfriend?"

"B-Boyfriend?" She seemed confused.

"Yeah, the one who surprised you last year and pretended to break up with you?"

She suddenly remained silent before looking right into my eyes. We stayed like that for a few seconds, until I finally decided to ask her again.

"What is it? Is there something wrong with my face?"

She shook her head and smiled. "Nope, you're just too perfect, Sana Unnie.. and this is exactly why I decided to fight for you. No matter what kind of love this is."

"H-Huh?" I looked at her in confusion. "Fight for me? In what kind of love, Tzuyu-yah?"

Beep beep beep!

She was about to speak again when her cell phone suddenly started ringing. She answered the call, while I just stood there and watched her.

"Yes?"

"Yeah, I'll be there."

"I'm just eating somewhere.."

Her conversation with the person on the other line was really short. However, a shift of mood from her face was too obvious to ignore. It definitely looks like there's something wrong.

"What is it?" I asked worriedly.

"It's my parents, Unnie.. I think I need to go soon," she said in a low voice.

"H-Huh? Right now?"

"Apparently, it's something that I can't change within a few hours."

"Tzuyu-yah.." I pouted in the hopes of convincing her. "Can't I borrow more time from you?"

"Unnie, actually--"

"If it's not that important, I can ask them for you!" I gave her an assuring smile. "Just trust me."

But she suddenly started avoiding my eyes.

"Hey, even though they still don't know me, I'm sure I can give them a good impression! I'll make them trust me and believe that I can take care of you! I'll do everything just to have more time with you.. please?"

"I-It's not that easy," she uttered. But what is this? Why is her voice starting to break? "I'm thankful that I even got to spend my time with you, Sana Unnie.."

"Tzuyu-yah.. what's going on?" I became even more confused and nervous at the same time.

She was about to turn her back on me, but she suddenly decided to face me again. "Will you walk me outside?"
