Chapter 7

"Sakura wake up"

"Wake up"

"Wake up!!!"

Her ex nanny who now is the head of all the workers in there house voiced.
After returning home from school,she bathed, ate and went to sleep.She's one of does people who take a nap after school.
"What is it?"She asked,her voice a little hoarse.

"Sleeping beauty's awake,oh thank god" the woman in her late thirties said sarcastically.

"Someone's downstairs waiting for you"she added.
"Who please?"Sakura asked

"The uchiha boy next door"the woman responded.

Sakura's eyes popped out,she checked the time and it was 5:20.She totally forgot about sasuke.

"Show him over to my room please"Sakura said fixing herself up all tensed up.
No boy has ever been in her room except Naruto who she views as a brother.

"We'll do"The woman said walking out of the room.

Soon after she heard a knock on her door..

"Come in"she voiced out standing up from her seated position.

There stood Uchiha Sasuke,holding various books in his hands.His face still unreadable and his aura cold.
The first thing the uchiha perceived was the sweet scent of Arabian jasmines.Her room was a mix of cream and crepe.The decor was simple yet exquisite.Every inch from his view was clean.
"Hey sasuke"She says tilting her head to the left making her hip long wavy hair flip to the side.
"Hn,pleasantries are not needed besides you've wasted so much of my precious time"He says coldly.

Sakura gives him an eye roll,sure she wasted his time but he sort of deserved it,He's been mean to her since they got paired.

An awkward silence followed suit after that eye roll both didn't know what to say.

"where's your study room?"He questions coldly.

"It's in my room"Sakura responds coldly.
If he was going to be cold to her,might be high time she returned the feeling.

"If you didn't have a study room then you should have told me"He said annoyed.

She didn't even respond to him.Instead she walks up a small distance to a door in her room.
"We do have a study"she says opening the door.
"I'm not allowed to go into our main study room.My parents have important documents stored in there and they thought it would be risky if there clumsy thirteen year old who's a bookworm hung around.So when we got our house renovated two years ago,They got me my own study room as an eleventh early birthday present"She ends.

Sasuke walked into her study room without uttering a word to her.
The study room was big,almost half her room. It had the same scent and color combination her room had.
It had three large bookshelves that contained different varieties of books,a large crepe desk and on it her crepe IMac.A large cream notice board filled with different pictures of the whole gang including sasuke over the years but mostly the girls.A side frame picture of her family.
Carpeted crepe floors with a fluffy cream rug,a cream standing lamp,chairs,pillows,couches and different writing materials.
Her study room had a welcoming aura and overall looked exquisite.
"Get your books"He sternly says.

"Are you always this serious?"she questions.

"And are you always this annoying to be around?"He retorts back coldly with a glare.

"Let me just get my stuff"she says with an eye roll.

After about an hour..
"I told you to fix it to the right,is it honestly that hard?and to think I heard rumors you were smart"sasuke yelled at the top of his lungs.

"Mmm s-Sorry,let me—
He cut her short

"What?,how many times will you apologize,I'm sick of hearing you—-
He stopped midair after hearing sobs.Her sobs,
At the sound of her sobs he calmed down.The room tensed and all that could be heard were her small soft sobs,he didn't know what to do. He's made so many girls cry before but she was different,she made him feel bad for his actions.

"S-Sorry"He said almost in a murmur.

"What?"She said sniffing.

"Sorry,ok"He audibly says.

"Why are you so mean to me?,I don't get it?,have I ever offended you?,no one has ever been this hard on me,not even my parents.If naruto was here everything would be easier"she ended wiping her tears away sniffing.
Sasuke takes a good look at her gloomy form, she hasn't done anything to offend him,she wasn't nagging or chasing him around.She was just being nice with no ulterior motives.

"I'll be more careful"he says coldly.

"No"she voiced out standing up.

Sasuke looks at her questionably.

"Sasuke kun, you shouldn't be so serious and stuck up about everything.This project requires a lot of teamwork and even though we've known each other for so long,we're not even close enough to call each other friends.I'm not asking for your friendship but why don't we just be friends or at least friendly towards each other until this project is done.Then we'll go our separate ways again"She ends.

"Deal"He says coldly.

"How can you be so professional about this, you just made me cry for god sake and your acting as if it was nothing"She voices out fuming.

"Sakura,I've already apologized and I can't do anymore.Don't expect anymore from me,I'm not as soft as naruto.You made a suggestion right?,we'll play friends until this project is done"He says coldly.

As soon as he uttered those words,Sakura was done,no more miss nice,she's had enough.She could honestly swear she's never been so fumed up in her life.
She was walking up to him to give him a proper  girl fit but midway tripped on one of there project piece causing her to fall on sasuke.

They stayed that way for a minute,afraid to utter anything,there current position was already very awkward,they didn't want to make things worse.

"Could this get any worse?"she thought.

"Great she's on top of me and she's quite heavy too"He thought sarcastically.

Sakura got off him swiftly.
"Sorry"She said.

"Hn"he responded.

An awkward Silence prevailed again between the two.
"I'll be going"He says breaking the ice.
"Ok"she responds.
"Same time and place tomorrow"he says before leaving.

Once he was out of sight and the door was closed,she fell on the floor.All she could do was laugh.The awkwardness was just to much.
"What have I gotten myself into"She thought.
