Spin The Bottle (Part 1)

I know this is such a cliché story but some people like i so I decided to write it lol. Also... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 400 READS! It's so cool to know that something I've created is getting publicity and people are enjoying it. Now on with teh storeh...

'Ugh... Another day of school...' I thought as I stared at the board in my English class. Luckily my whole friend group was in this class: Madi, Leo, (bff's name), Grace, Sam and Colby.
(If any of those are your name please change them, thanks.)
We were studying Romeo & Juliet but our teacher made it so boring!

"What's so much more interesting about Mr. Brock than the work y/n?" The teacher points out and I notice I was staring at Colby the whole time. "Uhh... I just zoned out miss..." She turned around and carried on explaining the work as Colby smirked at me, I tried to hide my tomato face...

It was finally lunchtime and we sat at our usual table (Me and my friends have our own table and it's literally just us who sit there xD)
in our usual seats.

"Hey guys, I'm not doing anything after school today and my parents are out on a business trip so do y'all wanna come over?" I asked as everyone replied with a "yes" of some description.

We spent the rest of our lunchtime going on our phones and doing what we normally do until the bell rang and we went to our final class, History. I never exactly liked History but I didn't exactly hate it either, it just seemed so useless because they're all dead anyway.

But I did sit next to someone special in this class. Cole Robert Brock. Close friend, crush, perfect boy with an amazing sense of humour, perfect smile, those eyes that you could just get los- "Hello?" Colby was waving his hand in front of my face which brought me out of my daydream. "The teacher said since it's our last History lesson for a while we can just do some revision or chat." He smiled. God that smile... Shut up y/n! "Uhh yeah! Are you coming over to my house after school too?"

"Hell yeah!" He shouted a little too loud which earned a "shush" from the teacher. The rest of the lesson was spent making lots of jokes, talking about what might happen after school and even some deep conversations.

*Time skip brought to you by a bag of potatoes*

"I've got half an hour till they get here." I whispered to myself while opening my wardrobe to find a half decent outfit my friends could see me in. I was currently in a tank top and shorts with a messy bun with flip flops/sandals on when I hear a knock at the door.

I run downstairs, expecting it to be the hoodie I ordered around a week ago but opening the door to find Colby there. "Uh... Sorry I'm a bit early..." He said while looking me up and down and blushing, I caught him slightly biting his lip. "Oh uhh... It's fine. Sit down and I'll come back in a minute..."

I walked back up the stairs and I felt his eyes on me. I caught him staring at my ass so I ran into my room.

I decided on some black jeans with a cop top that says "I don't need the Internet. The Internet needs me." along with my messy bun because I couldn't be bothered to do my hair and quickly did a really natural makeup look.

"You okay Colbs?" I say as I walk down the stairs and see him staring blankly at his phone. "Yeah..." He whispers while looking up at me. "Sure..?" I come over to sit next to him which causes him to blush when I hear the doorbell ring.

*Final time skip brought to you by some black paint I just found*

Everyone was here and the evening was fun: we played some games and chatted a lot but everything seemed to be a bit awkward between Colby and I.
"Let's play spin the bottle!" Madi suggested out of nowhere while pulling an empty water bottle out of her backpack.

"Hell yeah!" (Bff's name) shouted while everyone else casually agreed while Colby and I were a bit unsure. They all eventually convinced us and a clear, plastic bottle was placed in the middle of the circle we were all sitting in. Grace was the first one to spin and it landed on Sam. They were a bit hesitant at first but leaned in for a quick peck. Next was (Bff's name). As the bottle slowly span it landed on Madi who blushed and leaned in.

It was finally my go. I span the bottle and everything felt like it was in slow motion as it went around, pointing at each person. I closed my eyes, opening them to find it had landed on...

We very hesitantly leaned in and pecked eachother, squirming about after because of how awkward it felt. I noticed a slight look of envy in Colby's eye and Sam smirking at him. Colby now span the bottle and it landed on...

Me.

My eyes widened while his face became tomato red. He leaned in and I leaned in the rest of the way. This time everything stopped. It felt like it was just us. We stayed there, kissing while everyone gasped or fangirled. Our lips moved in sync while my arms wrapped around his neck and his hand came into contact with my cheek. We pulled away and smiled while Madi and Leo just started screaming and freaking out.
