For Matt's birthday one year, you decided to get Banana a cat friend to play with (or be tortured by) when you and Matt are at work. You went and picked out a very rambunctious little calico tabby at your local shelter, and got to take her home the day before. Keeping the playful kitten away from Matt was extremely hard, but with Ryan's help, you were able to surprise Matt the next day. To go with the fruit theme, the two of you named her Peach.

You and Ryan had been thinking about getting another animal for multiple months before settling on getting another dog. It'd be hard managing both Lego and the new addition to your busy schedules, but you decided it'd be worth it. Going the shelter adoption route, the two of you picked out a rather friendly puppy who lit up as soon as he saw you. The excitable mix settled in with your routine nicely and got along with Lego almost immediately. You and Ryan went through a long list of names, settling on Jack.
