the cold winter air stings as you walk down the downtown streets of your hometown. it's good to finally have some time to just you and ryan. you truly loved your family, but they could get... overwhelming at times.

"i think we're almost there," you say to ryan, who trails close behind you. going ice skating was one of your favorite childhood memories, and you were more than happy to share it with him.

finally, you reach the dome-shaped building, grinning as its warm familiarity filling you with nostalgia.

"you ready?" ryan says to you, his excitement clear in his voice.

"yeah, i am."

after you get your skates and find a place to set up camp, the two of you head out to the rink. you start slow, keeping close to the sides of the rink, making small talk as you skate around.

it's clear that ryan hasn't gone ice skating in years. he stumbles at first, clinging onto the wall for dear life, and somehow he doesn't fall.

you chuckle, trying to keep your movements slow so he can keep up with you. since you came here all the time as a kid, you're pretty much an expert on the activity. however, you are a bit rusty, which is why you wanted to stay close to the sidelines.

overall, the two of you had a great time. eventually, as ryan got used to skating, the two of you moved farther and farther away from the wall. you stayed for a few hours, got something to eat, and went home.

writing ryan is really hard. i'm trying to strike a balance between his goofy online personality and the warm, down-to-earth person we see in the podcast episodes.

sorry that this imagine took so long! it was my first time writing something like this, so i was a bit unsure of what type of style i wanted to do it in.
