DING DONG.
I jumped as the doorbell rang. I knew that it would be Emma. I told her to come over so we could get ready for the Halloween party together. "DANI! GO GET THE DOOR!!!" Zach yelled from the living room. That boy is so lazy! I don't understand how me made it to his 3rd year in college. But, I got to love my brothers. I sighed as I walked down the stairs. I opened the door but it wasn't Emma.
"Austin?" I was confused. Emma is suppose to be here in 5 minutes but she's usually early.
"Um...Hey" He said.
"Dani. Who's at the door? If it's Emma I'm surprised you guys aren't squealing." Zach asked as him and Jackson emerged from the kitchen. Both their eyes locked on Austin.
"Hey Cooper." Jackson said awkwardly.
Austin just nodded his head as if saying hello, then turned his attention back to me. He smiled. He was wearing a black leather jacket, red shirt and jeans. "What are you suppose to be? A stripper?" I asked. He dressed so casually but he still looked amazing. I saw my brother's bodies tense up after my comment and automatically regretting it.
He smirked. "No a devil. What are you suppose to be? Sleeping Beauty?" I stared at him, confused for a second. Then I realized that I was in a silky pink lace tank-top with Yoga Shorts. I blushed.
Suddenly the door flew open. Emma walked in. She was a little shocked to see all of us in one room together. She didn't close the door and I knew why. Derek was right behind her.
Emma rushed to my side. "Hey." She whispered. "Why are they here?"
"I have no clue. But I plan to find out." I turned to my brothers "Can you guys...give us a minute? Before you burn whole into Austin and Derek?" The boys gave them one last glare and then left.
"Hey there...ummmmm..... Sleeping Beauty?" He asked me. I sighed.
"What are you guys doing here?" Emma demanded.
"In my house." I said, standing by her side.
"Listen. We're devils." Derek began and started smirking.
"So we can't show up without hot dates." Austin finished and smirked too. Then he turned to me and winked.
"Sorry we can't." I said. I started to pull Emma up the stairs when a hand was placed on mine on the hand rail. I froze and a tingling sensation went through me. I turned to look down at Austin. There was no sign of a smirk on his face and he looked like he saw someone kick a puppy.
"Why not?"
"Because." I started.
"We're angels!" Emma said happily. This time, we were the ones smirking.
Austin put his hand on my hips and pulled me off of the steps. "Is there anyway I can turn you to the dark side?" He said and winked. His electric blue eyes stared at me. He was gorgeous with his hair spiked. I realized that my hands were on his chest, and quickly pulled away.
I turned to look at Emma. She was smiling but not at me. Her eyes were set on Derek. He wore a red leather jacket, black shirt and jeans. They looked so cute together.
I heard someone clear their throat to the right of me. Zach stood in the doorway giving Austin the death glare. "Cooper! You mind? I don't exactly like strangers feeling up my little sister."
I pulled myself away and blushed. I heard Austin chuckle a little and I swatted his shoulder. He wasn't a complete stranger but we weren't exactly best friends. "Sorry Zach." He held his hands up in surrender. I took this opportunity and ran upstairs with Emma.
