Jack's POV ( JACK ISN'T UP TO DATE ON OTHER DEVICES BTW )

I was soaring on Tricos back looking as the ground fly past as we went. suddenly i saw two random lights pointing forward, the most odd part of the situation was that the lights where moving! curious me and Trico landed in a tree nearby. The object projecting the light suddenly stopped and a man walked out, he was wearing the shortest toga i have ever seen- though to be fair his Toga was lost years ago. His leggings where basically the only thing keeping him warm besides Trico.

 Then two more people walked out, one was tall and tan, his hair was black. The second was Blond and female. How did she find the time to come out with the other men, woman where always stuck at some task, i always felt bad for them.

Later after the blond man started yelling another female exited the object but when I saw her I gaped at her beauty. her hair was in some sort of bun on the top of her head, her blue eyes where like the sky. I was so busy watching the girl that i didn't see what was going on and everyone gathered up and examined the stars when she glanced in my direction, our eyes met for a split second.

Terrified of getting seen me and Trico dashed as high in the sky as possible. then flew back home.

time skip til mornin

Marks POV

in the morning it was so hot out Felix actually made eggs on the car hood.Amy had wandered near the forest's edge with Signe, Mark decided that it would be better if he was moving instead of baking in the sun like Felix's eggs. 

Getting up Mark started walking next to the forest watching as the wind would rile up the leaves on the tall trees. until something caught my eye, under a tree was a shield that was shimmering with a strange glow.

Confused Mark picked it up and whipped all the mud and dirt off it, it was so alluring.

Later that night Mark pointed it up at the sky when a beam of light shot off it like a flash light. Scared everyone backed up, As roar sounded from afar.
