It's been two months after my father has died. The palace is gray. It's heartbreaking to see my mother paste a smile on her face when she really wants to cry. Since she can't carry the weight that means I have to. I haven't gone back to the village to complete the third step. Today I'm taking a break from running the kingdom and have a day to myself. We have been receiving gifts from our people to help with grief. It's very kind of them to do so but it doesn't work that way for us.
I had a guard walk me around the palace garden just in case I would have a breakdown. I had walked a few steps in front of him but didn't hear a sound. He suddenly grabs my arms and pushes me onto the ground.
"What are you doing?" I ask. He doesn't reply, instead he ties a rope around my wrists and I squint in pain.
"Well Prince Yoongi you're not much of a fighter are you?"
"When I get out of this I'll have your head!" I yell.
"You're tiny what will you do?" He laughs. "You can easily take me out, you have water all around you. Why aren't you putting up much of a fight?" I stay silent. "You're no fun, I've always thought that water benders were great warriors, but no— you guys are soft."
"Intruder!" Someone yells and the kidnapper picks me up and taking me to a secret tunnel that looks melted through.
As he dragged me he put me on a small boat and rowed to a huge glacier. He took a right turn and I saw a fire nation ship. It took us in and the kidnapper took off the armor. He grabbed my shoulder and led me to a room. Inside of the room were cells and I sighed. He pushed me in and there was another person in there with me. They helped me get the ropes off and I ran up to the bars and grabbed my kidnapper's shirt.
"Your head is mine!" He put his hand on my wrist and burned it. I let go in pain and the other person pulled me back.
"Hey it's no use. We're stuck here." He says. I look up at him and he has pretty brown eyes with silver hair, an air bender. He smiles at me showing his dimple, "I'm Kim Namjoon, my brother across from this cell was stealing from the ship earlier and I tried to save him."
"Um no stop lying! It goes vise versa!" He yells coming up to his set of bars revealing his silver hair. He waves at me, "I'm Park Jimin by the way."
"I'm Jeon Jungkook!" Another male stands next to Jimin, clearly taller than him. He has brown hair, an earth bender. "I got here because I'm sort of wanted at the fire nation for destroying their weapons."
"That's great but I'm actually important." I scoff.
"What are you? Royalty?" Namjoon laughs and so did the younger males.
"Actually I am." I roll my eyes and they quickly stop. "If you haven't noticed by looking through the window the ship there was a castle nearby."
"Well if you haven't noticed we're on water and you could water bend us out."
"It's not easy." I almost yell. I look out at the water and sigh.
"Since were all prisoners we might as well be friends too. You can tell us."
"No, all I can tell you is is that it's a royal secret and that I regret not going back. Also, my name's Min Yoongi."
