Six: The White Spirit

I've been underground for at least a week and everyone begins clapping. Someone with a white mask and red hair steps onto a large pile of rocks and introduces himself.

"Welcome back to the rebellion! If you're new here I'm the White Spirit and a fire bender. There are people fighting back against the fire nation and we must help them protect their own rights!" He yells and holds up a fist. "I've gotten news that the North and South Sea are under attack and that they are not easy to take down, which is good."

Everyone claps again, including me this time.

"Are there any water benders here?" I raise my hand and he motions me to come up with him. "If I'm not mistaken you're the prince of the north." He says and I nod. The White Spirit takes my hand and I felt a little gushy about it.

He raises it up for me and introduces me as the Prince of the North Sea. People clap and he tells me to stand by him during the speech as we put our hands back down and let go. All he spoke about were what was going on inside the palace and what their plans were. That was completely illegal. Not to mention his voice sounds familiar to me. When he was finished he told everyone to train so when we're ready we can attack.

His hand snakes around my waist and leads me down from the pile of rocks. He lead me away from the people so we can have privacy.

"To start off I'm sorry for your loss." I just nod and him and mumble a quick thanks. "I know who did it. It was the one who kidnapped you."

I furrowed my eyebrows at him and out of anger I bend water from the air, putting it around his neck. I angrily whispered, "Which Prince are you and why did she send him out?"

He struggles for air and I loosen it a bit, "She wanted your family to suffer— because I, wanted you." I completely let go and the water fell; leaving the prince grasping for air. His eyes met up with mine and he takes off the mask revealing his attractive face. "I came back to give you water because I felt bad that he burned you. I hated it."

"Thank you for that." I started to walk away until he touches my hand. I felt sparks but I refuse to acknowledge it.

"Please Yoongi, can you at least give me a chance to prove myself to you? I'm not like Taehyung or my mother."

"Only if you can remember our first conversation we had in my palace." I smirk and his face drops.

"That's not fair!" He whines.

"Well you have all the time to guess it." I wink.

"Do you even know what's happening to your eyes?" He laughs and I tilt my head. "They're blue and I know they were brown. You can't hide it."

"So? Yours are green."

"Yeah they change when you like someone."

"I don't like you." I release my hand from his and walked back to the crowd of people who were training.

Everyone was separated by bending abilities. They had everything except water. I practiced on my own and saw a mouse. Since I have my ability I decided to test if I could blood bend. I chased the mouse away from everyone and into somewhere private.

I turned my hand into circles and felt the movement inside of the small creature. My hand raises up and it stands. I breathe and had it turn around, making it walk. Smiling to myself I let it free and it scurries away.

Returning to civilization I continued to bend water out of air and making weapons for myself, destroying them later. When we start to go to war Taehyung will never know what hit him.

After training for 5 hours straight everyone started to socialize. Namjoon, Jimin, and Jungkook found me sitting on the ground tracing the cracks.

"I think I like Hoseok." I told them and they all gasp. They sat on the ground around me.

"Well he did give you water." Jungkook says.

"Not only that but our hands touched and I felt something even though I hate him." I also hate the fact that he's not here anymore so I won't see him. I just sigh.

At night while I'm awake I heard a voice calling to me. I saw a small flame and immediately knew it was Hoseok. Happiness fills me up but I don't want anything to do with him.

"Yoongi get the fuck up I know you hear me." He whisper yells, I sigh and got up, walking up to him. Before I could question him he puts his finger upon my lips. "I'm showing you around my kingdom."

"Forget it." And before I knew it I was already above ground. Apparently it's a cave and I wasn't actually underground. He gave me a red coat to hide my hair and the full moon shines above us.

The environment we're in is the outside of the fire nation. It was humid and had rocky mountains here and there. Large plants and trees covered almost everything, even the cave. Hoseok had his giant lizard for transportation and helped me get on. His hand graces over mine and my breath hitched.

"I had a hiccup." I lie. He just smiles and had me wear his mask so people don't identify me. Hoseok motions the lizard to run to the kingdom which is miles away.

Once it ran I held onto Hoseok so I won't fall off. We got to the kingdom and all the lanterns hanging in the air were lit. It was beautiful. I saw the gardens filled with fireflies. A couple of shows were going on and people were doing dangerous tricks with fire.

We went everywhere. Everything had to deal with fire and I thought it was amazing. I saw many different animals and they could breathe fire. I've noticed that Hoseok seem to wince whenever he saw massive amounts of fire.

"I've saved the best for last, this is personally my favorite place to go to." The lizard turns back and we end up at a small river. There were fireflies again and small lit lanterns.

The lizard stops and Hoseok gets off. He straightens his clothes and then helps me off the lizard. We walk on the bridge that's built and leaned onto the railing.

"Your kingdom is beautiful." I tell him and he smiles.

"Thank you. This is my favorite place because it's calming, if you listen you can hear the toads croaking and the water running." I nod. "I'm going to tell you something personal."

"Go ahead."

"I hate being a fire bender because of our power." He admits. "When I was younger I literally burned everything I touched. I was destructive. So that's how I see fire."

"I don't think it's destructive at all. Only if you use it that way. I think it's a source of light." I tell him. He smiles and puts his arm around mine.

"I should get you back to the cave." He says and I nod, noticing the moon is close to its way back down. We rode the lizard back to the cave and I took off the mask and coat, giving it back to Hoseok. "I'll be back soon, don't miss me too much."

He winks and me and I roll my eyes, flicking him off. He laughs and the lizard runs off. I walk back inside the cave and back to my spot. I closed my eyes and began to fall asleep.
