My Heart Got In The Way

chaper 1 - The mission

Kira POV

  I was currently at the agency  when the head of the department had sent someone to call me. As I walked towards her office I tried to figure out what she wanted. When I reached the all too familiar French doors, I knocked on it and heard Mrs Myers' voice saying a faint "come in". When I entered, I saw that she was busy talking to someone on her phone. She signalled me to sit in one of the wooden chairs. About 5 minutes later her call had ended.
"So Agent Kira, do you know why I asked to see you," she said looking at me.
"Well, to be completely honest, I have no clue whatsoever," I replied sitting up straight in my seat.
"Well, you were called here because I have a mission for you," she said.
"But when we receive missions, Agent John is always the one to inform us," I said confused.
"You see, Agent Kira, this mission is very important; we've found a very dangerous man who is the Alpha of the silver Moon Pack. He has killed multiple people and I want you to go undercover to gather intel on his weaknesses and use it against him to kill him," she stated.
" How long will this mission take?" I asked
"As long as the job is completed" she said calmly.
After a few minutes of silence Mrs Myers finally decided to break it.
"Agent John will give you further information on the whole mission. You can leave now."
Without another word, I sprinted out through the door and was greeted by Agent John who was in his 50s.
"Here is the information on your target and this is your undercover story," Agent John said handing me an envelop.
Taking the envelop, I  tore it open and started to read it

The Target

Name:  Scott McCall
D.O.B: September 27,1994
Age: 24 years old
Gender: male
Occupation: Alpha of the Silver moon pack

He is the alpha of the Silver Moon pack who had killed multiple people and he is said to be vicious, dangerous and deceiving.

Looking back in the envelop I saw another paper so I took it out and started to read it.

Undercover story

Name: Kira Johnson
D.O.B: December 19,1997
Age: 21 years old
Gender: female
Occupation:  waitress (work at a diner)
Assignment: Agent Kira Johnson is to move to New York  where her target lives. You must try to gain his trust and when you gather enough intel, report it to the agency and wait for your orders to kill him. When this  assignment is completed there will be a private jet waiting for you. You will return safely  home to your family.

"Wait, so we are using my real name, age and D.O.B, I thought they were going to be fake," I said looking back at the paper in my hand.
"Yes, do you have a problem with that," getting into my face.
"No, no problem at all. Just checking" I replied quickly while backing away extending a little distance between the two of us.
