Chapter 11: First day as a trainee

It is my first day of training today. I got up out of bed did my morning routine. I wore a pair of black leggings with a purple crop-top with Bigbang's logo. If you don't know Bigbang is the kings of the kpop industry, they are such an inspiration to so many people. After I got dressed I went downstairs to eat breakfast with boys and shockingly they were all awake, which is a very rare thing.

"Good morning Song." Jackson said as he came to give me a good morning hug. We have all become really close and they have become my brothers.

"Good morning everyone." I said hugging Jackson back, then they all got up and gave me a hug. Mark was the last person to give me a hug but he ended up giving me a hug and a kiss because he is my biological brother. After all the hugs Mark dragged me to the table to eat, Looks like he cooked breakfast this morning considering nobody else can cook in this house other than him. I sat down and started eating.

"So Song are you ready for your first day as a trainee?" Bam asked me and I just shook my head excitedly because my mouth was filled with food.

"Can I ask you a question Song?" Jinyoung asked me and again I just nodded my head. "Why did you chose the performance team, you are already a great dancer. Why didn't you chose the vocal or the Hip-Hop unit?" He asked which left me in shock. I can't tell them that I have a crush on Minghao, I mean they know that he is my bias but still how will my brother react if I tell him.

"I guess I just want to improve and learn from them because they are so well formed that they move like one person." I said trying not to sound obvious that I'm nervous.

"Ok I was just wondering." He said and then went back to eating. Thank god he didn't catch my nervousness. After we all finished we all went downstairs to the car that was parked outside then we all got in because they insisted to come with me. I sat next to Mark, Yug and Bam sat together, JB and Jackson sat with each other while Jinyoung sat in the front with the driver.

"Are you sure that you just wanted to 'Learn' from the performance team, is there someone particular that you wanted to see?" Mark whispered to me so that no one else can hear us.

"No all want to do is learn." I said knowing that he would never believe me he knows when I'm stretching the truth.

"Sure sis but I know that your bias is Minghao do you perhaps have a crush on Minghao?" He asked making me blush uncontrollably. I knew that he could see on my face that it was true. He has known me for my whole life, he knows me better than anyone.

"Yeah I do like him but I also wanted to learn from the performance unit." I said trying to say that it isn't just because of Minghao that I wanted to train with the performance team. We finally arrived at Pledis then we exited the car and went into the building. We went up to the front desk to ask which practice room I was in, the woman said that it was room 3. We headed to room 3 and we heard music playing, I looked in and saw the performance team dancing to their new song off the Teen,Age album.

"Wow they are really good." Yug said in awe of their dancing.

"I know right why do you think that one of them is my bias. I won't say his name because they might hear me." I said. After that we knocked on the door and they all turned to us. Dino went and opened the door for us.

"Hi Song it's nice to meet you I'm Dino the maknae of Seventeen." He said. After he introduced himself he let us all into the room.

"Hi guys you all probably know me but I'm Song and this is Got7. They insisted on coming." I said with my normal smile.

"Guys please introduce yourself." Minghao said to Jun, Hoshi, and Dino

"Hi I'm Jun I'm the other half of the china line with Minghao." Jun said pointing to Minghao.

"Hello I'm Hoshi the leader of the performance team but you can call me Hosh or Soonyoung if you would like." Hoshi said while doing his normal 10:10 hosh thing.

"You have already met me but I'm Dino the maknae of Seventeen but you can call me Chan if you would like." Dino said with a bright smile.

"Well Chan you're not the youngest one in the room right now. I'm 18 which means you are older than me by a few months." I said and his face lit up.

"Finally someone younger than me." He said on his knees. He looked like she was praising some sort of God. It looked kinda funny so I giggled a little bit hoping no one heard me, but of course Minghao heard me of all people.

"Guys shouldn't we get started." I said making them look at me and smile.

"Sure what do you want to learn?" Hosh asked me.

"Um do you think you could teach me the performance units new song sorry I know the title but I can't pronounce it." I said a little bit embarrassed.

"Sure we would be happy to." Jun said as they all got in positions. After the song ended Hosh started teaching me the moves and highlighting certain things. He is a really good teacher I now see how he became the leader of the performance unit. After I learned the moves they turned on the music to see how well I learned. I danced messing up on a few steps.

"Minhao help her out with the move she has a harder time with." Hosh said and I saw a slight wink directed to Minghao. I saw him blushing which made me blush. He came over to me and started showing me how to do the steps but I was so focussed on him that I completely forgot to pay attention to the steps I was supposed to be learning.

"Did you get that?" Minghao asked while looking at me straight in the eye.

"Huh what I'm sorry I must have not been paying attention can you please teach me again." I said looking away so that he didn't see me blush.

"Sure stand in front of me I will guide you." He said making me blush even harder. I hesitantly went in front of him and once I got there he started to get closer to me from the back. He put his hand in mine and started to move. We were dancing and once he thought that I had got it all he let go and they tuned in the music once again. I danced to it perfectly this time. They all came up except for Hosh because I took his spot in the choreography. The 4 of us danced to it perfectly and then we started to have a freestyle dance battle.

"Damn Song you got some good moves." Chan said as a watched in awe, the same goes for Jun.

"Why did you ask for us to teach us when you are already an amazing dancer?" Jun asked.

"I may be a good dancer but I am always looking to improve so that is why I chose to learn from you guys. I have always looked up to Seventeen and especially the performance team because you show your emotions through dance and I can see that dance has always been your true passion. I want to be like that." I said smiling at them. They all had huge smiles on their face and were blushing a little bit. I could see one person was hiding his sadness but he played it off very well. That person was Minghao.

"Thank you Song that means a lot we would be happy to teach you again." Hosh said with a smile that spread from ear to ear. We practiced for the rest of the time, the day ended and I went home.
