"hell yeah." i said looking at my bandaged tattoo.

"it looks good," maya said, causing me to smile. the tattoo was on my upper arm, it was my brother's name written in black script.

it's been two months since corey's been gone so i decided to get a tattoo in his memory. he'll always be with me in some way, watching over me.

"what's the move for today?"

"tryna go to this party?" maya asked, showing me this snap of this guy at our school party invitation.
