Ch. 3 Bar Brawl

3rd pov

Ruby: And this is home sweet home.

y/n: Wow its a lot bigger than my place.

Blake and Weiss look at each other confused.

Weiss: How small is your place

y/n: Well judging by the length and width of the room, adding the two extra rooms, subtract the height of the ceasing, I would have to conclude that It is roughly 35% the size of this room.

The entirety of team RWBY looked completely lost with blank expressions on their faces.

Yang: Your pretty smart aren't you.

y/n starts to blush.

y/n: well..I thank you.

Yang smiles at him

Ruby: Wait how does your family live in an apartment that small?

y/n's expression went from flustered to sad.

y/n: Oh they ahh got killed by a deadly grim around 3 years ago.

Team RWBY all have shocked faces

y/n: So I have been on my own for the past 3 years

Blake: Wow, I am so sorry.

y/n: It's fine I made my peace with it.

Yang: Well were here for you if you need anything.

y/n: Thank you.

Ruby: You know we should do something fun after school tomorrow and we can get to know each other better.

y/n's face light up.

y/n: That sounds great actually.

Weiss just remembered something.

Weiss: Wait where is he suppose to sleep?

They look around the room before they notice a cot between the left wall and Weiss bed

y/n: I guess over there?

Ruby: You only get a small cot?  That's not fair.

y/n: It's fine Ruby I am not picky.

they all talk a little bit more before deciding to turn in y/n went to his cot and unpacked his clothes weapon, his science, math, and joke books, and his comics.  An hour passes and all of team RWBY falls asleep, when y/n is certain that they are all asleep he puts on his suit, exits through the window and heads to Juniors Bar.

y/n pov

I was able to make my way down to Vale and I as I was making my way to Juniors Bar I thought about my teammates.

y/n: Ruby seems nice if a little naive, she does, however, have enthusiasm and a pure heart, and she seems like she genuinely wants to make the world a better place.  Hey that something we have in common oh maybe she and I could become partners, I can see it now the dynamic duo protecting vale from injustice. *laughs

y/n: Weiss seems spoiled and arrogant.  But I think that underneath that icy cold exterior lies a kind person, though I wonder how long it will take me to break that outer shell. Hey maybe comparing dust notes could be a good 'ice' breaker.

y/n: Blake was the hardest to read, she seems guarded, I am going to have to get to know her better to get the full picture though, but I wonder why the bow why is she so afraid of telling people that she is a Faunus, out of fear? Or for people not to judge her by her animal fetchers?
