The Aftermath

  After the 'attack' Ruki soon got better and I was there beside him the entire time. He requested that I made dinner the nights he was getting better, but I'm not that good so he will be surprised when he looks at the kitchen. Yuma, Kou, and Azusa helped with cooking when I was too tired to cook.

  "Mak? What are you doing?" I jumped a little to here Ruki's voice. "Ruki!? You scared me!" I laid my hand on my heart and turned around. " Sorry...but what are you doing?" I looked down at the fruit salad i was making and back a Ruki. "Making food? Are you hungry? I could make you something." Ruki shook his head and signed. "Nah...it's ok. Just checking up on you. I also needed to walk around and get out of bed...wanna go on a walk with me?" My eyes lit up and sparkled. "Sure! Just let me go change out of my pajamas!" I lightly hugged him, not wanting to hurt him, and quickly walked up to my room.

  As you could tell, I've been staying with Ruki and the others for a while. Three weeks to be exact! The sakamaki brothers haven't even come to get me! I don't have to worry about being harassed by them! Woohoo!!

  I searched through my clothes, trying to find something to wear. "Ugh! I can't find anything!" I looked around more and finally found something. "Its not so 'exercise' like...but it'll do!" I grabbed it and started to change.

  I quickly ran out of the room and was about to run down the stairs but then... "Hey, mak! I need to talk to you!" A loud voice called out. I jumped a little and quickly turned around. "Y-yea s-sure! Go ahead!" It was yuma, jeez yuma...you always yell and it scared me! "Good...now follow me." "I-I cant...Ruki and I are going on a walk...because has getting better...and I already promised him..." Yuma sighed and scratched the back of his neck. "I'm gonna go get changed and I'll come with." My eyes widened. " Uh-um...well...your gonna have to ask ruki...but I guess you could...just ask ruki and-!! " I felt a cold hand on my shoulder and jumped a little. "Kya!?" I turned around and saw ruki. "Jeez! You scared me! Let a girl know when your gonna sneak up on her!" I placed my hand on my heart and ruki pulled me closer to him. "Yuma...you can't come with...I need to talk to Mak when we're out." Yuma made a 'Tch!' Sound and walked off.

I looked to ruki and he smiles a little. That a the first time I've seen him smile in a long time! Ruki gently grabbed my hand and started walking. Soon we were outside, he took in a deep breath and out, then looked at me. "Are you ready? If so then we can get going." I smiled  and nodded. "Yea, let's go!" He laughed a little and wrapped his arm around my waist. I blushed a light pink and looked at him. He looked down at me and did the smoothest thing! He looked at me and smirked!? A freaking smirk!? What is he planning on doing after this!?

  I looked away and we started walking. "H-hey...ruki? What happens when we see one of the sakamaki brothers?" He growled a little and stopped in place. " I'll make sure they don't touch you...right now, we all need you. You can't just leave kou, azusa, yuma, and I behind. With your help...we are all still alive. I couldn't cook when in was healing, you were there so you cooked for us, and you were surprisingly good at it! I've never EVER let one of my brothers in that kitchen unless I was in there with them. But you, you I don't have to be with!"  Ruki grabbed my hands and looked at me, strait in the eyes. He moved in closer to my face and was about to kiss me...until...

  "HEY! MELONS! GET OVER HERE NOW!" I looked over quickly to see Ayato, Kanato, and Laito walking over too us...at least they were walking. "R-Ruki!? Uh-um!? Th-that's them!" I quickly hid behind Ruki and started to tremble. Thinking of the nights I was with them, how much blood I lost, the nick-names, the harassment, and worst of all...how their looks can trick you. "Ayato, leave at once!" Ruki shouted. He threw his arm out to the side, like he was guarding me. Is Ruki...really doing this? His chest still needs to heal...and he still needs help walking...I need to stop this!

Normal P.O.V

   Mak looked in front of Ruki and saw Ayato running at him. Gotta hurry! He's freaking fast! She quickly ran in front of Ruki and held her arms out. "Stop!!" But it was too late...Ayato tried to slow down but failed to succeed. "MAK!!" Ruki shouted. She fell down to the ground, she got punched in the throat. (from where Ruki's chest is, is basically where her throat is) She grabbed her throat and had a hard time breathing. "C-c-cant b-breathe..!" Since they weren't too far away from the mansion, Yuma, Kou, and Azusa came running towards them. " What the hell  happened here!? ...MAK!? WHAT HAPPENED!?" Yuma looked at me and ran and dropped down to mak.

  "H-help...c-cant b-bre-athe...y-y-yuma..." Kou, azusa, and ruki were giving death glare to Ayato. "You'll pay for this you bastard!!" Kou ran at him and started fighting, along with Yuma. Ruki didn't do anything since he's still recovering, so he went to take Mak home with Azusa.

is this the end for me? Will I die? I don't want to see my dad again...
