she stared at the window as her elbows rest on top of the table and her chin rest on her palm as she drank her coffee quietly. she looked at her wrist watch and saw the time. just a few more minutes before my shift. she said to herself mentally as she stared at the dark, quiet roads of l.a.
then she heard someone opened the door which caused her to snap out of her thoughts and look at the young man who entered the cafè. he has all the features of a super model and has a muscled structure and broad shoulders which makes him attention-seeking especiall to all the ladies inside the cafè. and she then looked at her watch, just in time for my shift, she said to herself mentally and got up from her chair and made her way inside the employer's room.
she changed in her coffee colored uniform that has different shades of brown with the cafè logo on the side of her skirt uniform. she began to make her way to different tables and clean up the mess everyone who entered the cafe made. she wiped all the tables clean and disposed all the paper cups and placed all the reusable plates, spoons, forks and cups on the sink which is washed by her friend jonas, another employee of the cafè, whom is also the dishwasher. she sent jonas a friendly smile and left.
jonas knew it was a semi-fake and semi-friendly smile but he didn't bother to utter a word. he aslo know all the things she has gone through considering she is one of his closest friends. he stayed with her through bad times and good times so he knew all the things she has gone through.
after placing all the dishes on the sink, she left and started to take orders of the costumers. then her eyes landed on the same boy who entered the door earlier, and now that she saw him up close, she noticed all the little details like his golden blonde hair that she assumed would shine if the sunlight catches a glimpse of it. she also noticed his shinning blue eyes that could hold her eyes captive even if it's just a peak. then she saw a scar on the corner of his left eye brow that must have held memories that he tried to bury deep down his mind.
just looking at him made her learn a lot about him. what more when she starts to get to know him?
