he held her hand quietly and gently as they walk to the quiet streets of l.a. and the streets were no longer cold and dark now that he is beisde her. he is like the street lights that gave life to the lonely and dark streets. he is like the jacket that sheld her from cold. and at that time, she felt like he is all she needs.
and as days began to past, their dates multiplied and they get to know each other more and more. they become more open to each other. he told her his secrets and she told him all her embarrassing moments which ended up both of them laughing. and as days began to past more, her roommates noticed a big change about her. she started to leave her cold dark soul and become more like a sunshine lighting up everyone's days.
instead of dark clothings, she began to wear more pastel colored clothes. instead of jeans and leather jackets, she began to wear dresses and skirts. he gave life to her. he lighten up her dark days and cold nights. he is like electricity that gives energy to her soul. he changed her. and he changed her for the better.
"hey girl, where are you goin'?" her roomate, lilac asked.
"um... just going out... with a boy," she briefly replied.
"oh, you and summer boy a thing now?" another one of her roommate, violet asked.
"summer boy?" she asked slightly chuckling at her friend's nickname to him.
"yeah. he's like the sunshine that gave light to your life and the sun is at it's brightest every summer. a pretty cool nickname don't you think?" her roommate, lavander said which made her slightly giggle.
"see, you never giggled before! oh, summer boy is definitely making a change." another one of her roommate, purple said wiggling her eyebrows.
some might say her roommates' names are weird, but she always thinks that they are unique, unlike her name which is very common.
