We Who Came From Different Worlds

[] PROLOGUE

At first, I never imagined falling inlove to someone far like you. It's pathetic to love someone that you haven't personally met.

Well, she almost changed my entire life. She inspires me to do a lot of things. To achieve goals in life and to be successful. Ever since she came into my life, I had another mission to accomplish. All I want to do now is to see her. Personally. To look at her beautiful eyes, pointed nose and adorable lips. Everything. Everything about her. I can say that my priorities in life suddenly changed in just a snap. However, the problem is... I can't, I simply just can't. I must get that 'thing' in order to see her. And to tell you honestly, it's not a piece of cake.

I received an envelope with a colorful seal and the words "CPTL" imprinted on it. I was expecting this today, considering this was sent to everyone, everywhere, every three years. This envelope has a new design, it indicates the theme of the year's game. This one has a mysterious pattern with codes and numbers on the top and bottom part of the letter. There's no doubt that this year we'll be having a coded mystery-like theme.

In our place, there's an event that we celebrate every three years, "the games" many would call it. We do this so that war and crimes would lessen, and oh boy, did it worked. Crimes and illegal activities drastically decreased ever since this event was created, and there were no signs of war since. You can choose to join or not in the games, but most of us do because of the prize. 

The winner will be granted whatever they desire, money, fame, love, anything. In this so called games, the rules are simple:

- You must collect the items in order, first, second, third, till the last.

- The first person to collect them all, wins, no ties nor teams.

- You have 36 hours to complete the game, if time runs out... it's time to stop.

Also note that in this game, we need to collect things that the Capitol order us to collect, like last time, the theme was rocks, so they ordered to collect rare stones from the different sectors of our planet. This time, it looks like we are going to face mystery and codes.

It ain't easy right? It is a matter of life and death. Killing wasn't a penalty, nor was stealing. That's why only a few brave souls join this game. Last time the games were held, there were 500 reported deaths all over the globe. Most of which were murder, and some are suicide. So it's either I win, or I lose, I might also die if I'm not so lucky. It's too risky, but I will do this for her. I will wish to see her.

Am I able to accomplish this? Or it will just tear my heart into pieces. Literally.
