I was grateful that they had taken off the cuffs before they could cut too far into my skin. I was also thankful that no one had asked why I carried a lightsaber.

I sat in the corner of the room, my tail curled around chest. I was waiting for the man from earlier to come and talk to me, but I knew that would take a while. The skin on my wrists was raw, the dull sting was something I wished I didn't have to remember.

The forcefield that acted as a door was removed and the man walked in. I made no move to stand, I just stared at my scarred wrists.

"Why are you here?" His voice was full of venom as he spoke, but I didn't care. I quietly stood. I walked myself to the chair beside the table and sat down. I waited before answering.

"I lost something and I saw one of your men pick it up. I was hoping to get in, get it back, then get out, but you can see that didn't happen," I made no effort to dodge the question; there was no point. He would catch on and keep me here longer.

"I'll ask you one more time and don't give me that crap. Why are you here?" he growled. I shook my head and laughed. This was getting stupid.

"You think I have any reason to lie to you, Jedi? Where would that get me besides six feet under? I lost something very important to me and I need it back. You can contact my apprentice if you want. Hell, you can call my contacts in the Order to confirm, I don't really care," the man glared at me and turned to leave. He stopped and mumbled something about humanoids before striding out the door.

I sighed as he left and slouched back into the small chair. I unwrapped my tail from around my chest and let it droop to the floor. This was going to take a while. I slowly reached up and touched my pointed ears. They felt light and bare without their collars.

I dropped my hands as I thought about the little trinkets my apprentice had made for me. She had given them to me the day we met and she had said she was proud to have a Micalish Stanur as her master. Her words had touched my heart and from that day forward, we were almost inseparable.

I had felt horrible when one of them had come loose and fallen off of my ear during a mission. I had told her that I was going to find it once we got back to camp and I had seen a trooper pick it up. I had followed him back to his ship and managed to slip aboard and hide. Then we had landed on a cruiser. That's when it went south.

I just barely got into the air vents before anyone noticed me. I had crawled around for about an hour before the Togruta and the clone had found me. And now I was here. Stuck in this plain cell with nothing but the tiny chair.

My head jerked up when I felt the Togruta's aura enter my presence. I wasn't expecting her to come to the brig. My curiosity grew as her aura grew closer and closer until I could see her from my cell.

The force field fell and her big blue eyes stared into my pink ones. She shifted her weight as she stared at me. She walked forwards and stood before me. The girl looked nervous, and her aura was unsure if she was making the right choice.

"It's alright. I have no reason to hurt you," I said in a gentle voice. She offered a nervous smile and held out her hand. Something was in her palm, guarded by her slender fingers. My interest peaked as she opened her fist to reveal my ear collar.

"I heard you were looking for this," she put it on the table. I stared at the golden piece of metal before turning my gaze back to the girl. I wasn't entirely surprised that she had the trinket, but I had seen a clone pick it up.

"Hardcase said he felt bad for making you go through all the trouble to get it back, so he asked me to give it to you. He also says sorry," I gave a small smile that she returned, her aura now cleared from her unease.

"Thank you, young one. Please give my gratitude to the man," she nodded and her smile grew. She turned to leave, but stopped.

"Call me Ahsoka," She said before she left and the force field flickered back into place.

I figured that now was good a time to sleep as any and I closed my eyes. The calm of near sleep washed over me as my mind went blank.
