"That old forest? What's wrong?" I asked Moncile. He took a deep breath, opening a portal with his cane.

"Gin has sadly been touched by a mortal a few days ago." My eyes widened.

"He's always been like family." I frowned. I had visited Gin every winter. He was a spirit, along with many other yamagamis in the forest.

"You see, I'm afraid he's fallen in love, and this girl, Hotaru, has the same feelings. I want you to see if you can do something."

"I'm completing a damn love story?" I groaned. "Fine. But I'm doing this to save Gin, and to prove to Yama that he was an idiot."

"Please don't kill Yama. He's a nice fellow." Moncile stated.

"Kill him as soon as I see him, got it!" I said before disappearing through a portal.

I walked up the mountains. An old cave remained hidden from mortal eyes. But, I wasn't exactly mortal. Yes I could die, but I was a Destiny Child, capable of non-human achievements. I walked in the cave before yelling.

"HEY!!" I shouted. "YAMA!!" I felt a hand on my shoulder before I whipped around, katana slashing. A fast moving boy dodged it all.

"Brian, it's me. Yama." He said. His red hair was messy, pointed up and out at odd angles.

"Ah, mountain guardian Yama." I smiled. "It looks like your spirit soul for Gin failed." Yama looked a little taken a back from that.

"Hey! I worked hard to make that!" Yama retorted.

"Yeah, yeah. But it was too fragile. Human touch broke the spell you put on it."

"We put the spell on it dipshit!" Yama growled, not enjoying the fact he was at fault.

"Alright, I'm going to sacrifice a soul of mine to bring Gin back. But guess what?" I asked. Yama unenthusiastically mumbled. "What was that?"

"But he can touch humans," Yama didn't look at me.

"Exactly." I smiled. I sat down, and focused. I opened myself up to the souls I have optained through the years. I had souls from long ago and some from recent events. I then looked at a green soul. I had stumbled apon it before a demon devoured it. It had belonged to an old fisherman of a village that met an unfortunate fate. I was only able to save a few people. I sighed and grabbed it. I opened my eyes. I bowed and began to pray. "God, please take the soul of the fisherman and in turn, revive Gin. Allow him to be among us again." I felt myself loose energy. My breathing got heavier and my focus swayed as my vision was blurring.

"Brian, stay focused." Yama said. I closed my eyes and channelled my energy into a glowing body of a man. His white hair didn't quite match his rather young looking complexion. He opened his eyes as I slowly fell over. I heard Gin begin to cry. He then sobbed. Yama sat next to him. I had to wait a bit before sitting up.
