Quirky In More Ways Then One

Faida Kaede

   "Toshi, you really need to be more careful." a woman scolded her wounded friend.

"Sorry Suni, guess I got carried away with that last villain. You have to admit though...he was a slippery one." 

The young woman laughed at her friend's terrible joke. Faida Suni, was an oddity to say the least. Being that she had two quirks: Luminescence and Super Sonic. Needless to say, she was a colorful blur of light when she was out on patrol a year ago.

   "I swear every time I see you, you pick up more of  Torino's  bad dad jokes." she chided "Aunt Nana would be proud." 

"So, how's the little firebird?" 

"Kaede's good, she's taking a nap right now." Suni explained as she finished bandaging Toshinori's wound. 

"She got her wings and her golden eye from Zamir." Suni gave a small, sad smile.

The bandaged hero nodded in understanding. "Other than that All Might  she's like a mini Nana attitude wise." Suni glowed with happiness at all the times she spent with her aunt. 

"Can I see her?" he asked.

"Sure, follow me." Suni ushered, as she headed down the hall. Hearing nothing but joyful laughter from her baby.

  "What the?" Toshinori thought as Suni opened the door to the little one's nursery. Only to see Suni break out in tears of joy. 

"She's flying, my baby's flying for the first time!" Suni cried happily.

Upon hearing this, Kaede took it as her cue to come down. Landing in her mother's open arms.  However, somewhat abruptly.

Toshinori smirked "Looks like we have a little prodigy. And I'd say you'd have a mini you on your hands Suni." 

  Which was true. She had various curious shaped markings up and down her body glowing with  yellow glee, as well as the streaks in her bright orange red hair. Matching her wings. Add onto that her dark tan skin, large orange and golden eyes, a bright pink dress, and a tiny but strong build and you had baby Kaede. 

  'She's going to surprise us all, knowing Zamir. It'd only be fitting if some of his mischievous nature to rub off on Kaede.' Toshinori thought, a soft smile on his face. As he watched the happy mother cooing, as she praised her little one.  ' I can't wait to see who she'll become in the future.'  

"Hey Bunny-boy, you want to hold her?" the happy mother grinned.

"I told you to stop calling me that Glowworm."  Toshinori retorted smirking.

"TOSHINORI YAGI, I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!!!" Suni shouted.

"HAHA, YOU'LL HAVE TO CATCH ME FIRST!" Toshinori taunted as he transformed into his musclular form.

 "DO YOU REALIZE WHO YOUR TALKING TO? NOW SIT DOWN AND REST!! YOUR NOT HEALED, AND YOU'LL JUST REOPEN YOUR WOUNDS!!! SHOTO'S RIGHT, YOU ARE THE HEIGHT OF IRRESPONSIBILITY!" Suni scolded chasing after him.

 "SINCE WHEN ARE YOU FRIENDS WITH AIZAWA!!?" he shouted.

Kaede just giggled and glowed happily. After about a five minute go around Toshinori had succumbed to Kaede's cuteness.

Fourteen years later....

"KAEDE, WAKE UP!" Suni called from the kitchen.

 "But I don't wanna." grumbled  Kaede.

 "Fine, I guess you don't want my extra special cinnamon strawberry hotcakes!?" Zoom!! Suni smirked at her daughter.
