The Exam And New Friends

 "IZUKU WE'RE GONNA B- what are you doing?" I asked my uncle looking at him like he was crazy.

 "Remember how my quirk works Faida?" he questioned. 

I thought for a moment...then the light bulb went off. "Oh...OH! That's still nasty though." I shivered. "Welp, go ahead Izuku. We got places to be, and times a ticking!" I encouraged.

  "Y-you didn't have to put it that way." he gulped. Then quickly swallowed the strand of hair before he could change his mind. "Okay, let's go." Izuku's voice quivered. 

'That was definitely not a pleasant experience.' I thought ruefully. "Want a lift Izuku?"

 "I don't mean to sound rude...but, your pretty reckless when your flying and I don't feel like breaking anything today." Izuku chuckled.

  "Fair enough. See you there Izuku." I called behind me as I raced off. "Yahoo!" I cried, happily glowing yellow with glee. I was flying close to the ground though, I tend to get lost otherwise. 

"Excuse me," a guy with black hair and glasses was trying to get my attention below me, snapping me out of my thoughts. 

"Oh, sorry. There something wrong?" I asked stopping in front of him.

 "No, I was just wondering if you were by chance heading to UA for the hero exam." Glasses asked.

"Yes, I am. My name's Faida Keade. What's yours?" I introduced myself landing beside him on the sidewalk. 

"My name is Iida Tenya. It's a pleasure to meet you Faida." Iida bowed. I then noticed the engines in his legs and smiled. 

"Hey Iida, would you race me the rest of the way to the exam? I have a speed quirk as well. And it's been years since I've been able to race someone without completely out matching them."

 "I suppose I could use the warm up before the exam. However, I must ask. Is your mother Faida Suni?" 

"Yes, why?" 

"My mother drags me to her flowers shop frequently. You look a lot like her." he commented as he got into position. "Thank you. Ready...set....GO!" I shouted as we both took off. Finding very quickly we were easily matched.

I was actually running instead of flying like normal. It just didn't seem fair otherwise. Soon, we had made it to the great academy for heroes. We were a little out of breath, but other than that it was a good workout before the exams. "Well this is where we part Faida. I look forward to seeing you during the exam."

 "Same here Iida. Thanks for the race, it was fun!" I called after him as he made his way inside.

After a few moments, I decided to glide inside. Upon making it into the auditorium, I took my seat by a girl who seemed to have a frog like quirk. Luckily, my seat was specifically built for people like me.

 "Wow, your wings are really pretty, ribbit!" the girl complemented.

 "Thank you, I like the way you did your hair. It looks nice." I smiled still glowing yellow.

"Thanks. My name's Asui Tsuyu." the girl smiled.

 "Faida Kaede." I chuckled.

"So, which battle area are you going to be in?" Asui asked. 

"Area B, you Asui?"

 "Same, this is going to be exciting don't you think?" Asui's awe present in her voice.

 "No kidding, my friend and I have been training ten months for this." I laugh. 

"Good luck then, ribbit. I look forward to competing with you." Asking nodded.
