"Uncle Yagi, I can run faster than this. Not to mention you can jump over freaking buildings faster than this." I groaned. Smacking my head on the dash of the truck. You know, just for emphasis.
"If your so impatient then get out and-" Whoosh!
"YEAH!" I laughed as I speed off towards school. Flying of course, I really needed to stretch my wings. It was even fun having to stay in the three hundred mile per hour speed limit. That's how good I felt.
Oh, I guess I forgot to explain the laws...oops. Welp, better late than never.
Here in our unique society, there are laws for every possible power a person may possess and when they can use them. There are also exceptions to these laws. Such as the race I had with Iida. Or if it's an emergency, like that one time mom had to go on a mission and got stabbed in the leg. Man, did I hightail it to the hospital.
Any who, the laws are there to keep everyone safe. And because there are still Quirkless people today...we have to be wary otherwise someone could get hurt or worst. And that would utterly suck. Seriously, talk about a buzzkill.
(sigh) Now, where was I? Oh, I was speeding towards school. I made it to the building in just under a minute. I smiled at myself upon landing. "Looks like the speed training is paying off. Shaved off a whole minute!" I thought cheekily. And right as I took the first step towards the doorway, I tripped. But luckily someone caught me. And that person was...
"Hey, your the person who I thought looked familiar at the exams! You wouldn't be related to Fuyumi by any chance would you?" I asked the teen with heterochromia, as he helped me to my feet.
"I am, why?" he responded.
"Then that means your Shouto. Fuyumi said you and I were about the same age when she used to babysit me, and help around my mom's shop." I explained.
I then realized, I had forgotten something. "Oh, where are my manners. I'm Faida Kaede, It's nice to finally meet you Todoroki!" I told him as I extended my hand. He smiled, it was barely there. But you could see it. But he didn't shake my hand he just said this:
"Watch your step, if your going to be a hero it's best if you work on your balance." and walked away. Leaving me gobsmacked.
"Sheesh, cold shoulder much?" I thought. I then sighed and went inside the building. And yes, without falling on my face! I then found class 1-C. And I walked into utter silence. I was the only one there. "This is interesting?" I thought aloud. I was glowing a indigo in worry.
I sighed and took my seat. Then...Thud! "SO BORED!" I groaned to my desk.
"Phfft, you couldn't just be normal and draw on the desk or something?" I heard someone laugh. This new guy was a lizard man. I could smell it. I sat up at looked at him.
"No, because that'd make me a poor excuse of an awesome unique individual."
