"Come on Uncle Yagi, he's having a hard enough time moving the fridge without your hero form on it!"

"Shouldn't you be studying the weather?"

"I did and I understand it completely!" She groaned, as she handed Izuku a bottle of water.

"Okay, then what have you managed to do so far?"

"A ball of light, and a neon lightning bow and arrow."

"Well then in that case, you can come over here and help Midoriya."

"Right-o." she responded as she grabbed on to the rope and tried to help Izuku. Yeah, it only moved about six millimeters.

After All Might explained the reasoning for the cleaning up the beach was to help them build muscle so one, Izuku's body could handle One For All's power.

And two, so Kaede could physically become stronger and improve her endurance so she could control her Neon Weather quirk. Instead of just relying on Super Sonic.

"Ugh, why?!" Kaede groaned as she flopped on the sandy ground, breathing hard.

"Huh, your telling me." Izuku chuckled at his friends antics, as he sat down beside her."I can't believe he detailed everything down to our time spent sleeping."

"Come on, we better get back to working. Then after school tomorrow, we have to do it all again." Kaede sighed.

"Your right...Hey, Kaede?" Izuku exclaimed.

"Yeah?" the glowing winged girl responded.

"What's it like having a quirk?" Izuku asked.

"Hmm...It's like having a physical form of your soul that everyone can see. It's an extension of who you are. Though I may have inherited different attributes of my parents quirks, mine are completely my own." she explained "Remember when my Super Sonic surfaced?"

"Yeah, you were chasing Katchan for comparing you to a lightning bug. You were so mad at first that you just zoomed after him in a neon red haze of fury!" Izuku chuckled.

"Then he got mad and started shoot small explosions my way trying to catch me! " Kaede bellowed.

"Then you accidentally shocked him with neon lightning for the first time!" Isuzu burst out laughing remembering the scene that had taken place.

"Aww, those were the days. I miss being friends. He wasn't as much of an ass. Then again, after Gaikan Kata did give him donkey ears for the day as punishment." she pointed out smirking.

"Wonder where he went anyway? Now that I think about it...you had a crush on him didn't you?" Izuku teased.

"I thought we promised we wouldn't talk about that anymore." her face and markings were redder than her hair, as she buried her head in her hands. Then pushed Izuku, tipping him over. To be fair though he was unstable from how much he was laughing.

They really were like brother and sister.

Upon finishing laughing, All Might told them to get back to work.

"Gee, thanks Uncle Yagi for ruining our reminiscing." the girl rolled her eyes at her adoptive uncle.

"You have time to reminisce at school tomorrow. Right now, you have training to do." Toshinori smirked.

"All right, we conceed you win oh symbol of peace." Kaede raised her hands sarcastically in mock defeat. Earning her an annoyed look from Toshinori.

"Nya!" she smirked as she stuck her tongue out at the hero, who immediately face palmed.
But by that time Kaede's mind was already elsewhere.

"So what if I glow, that doesn't mean I'm the same as that firefly! Stop being mean Katsuki!" a four year old Kaede growled.

"Katchan, you should really stop teasing Kaede. Besides, she's right." Shishu reasoned.

"She is though, heck she's even the right size of one she so short." Bakugo continued.

"Uh-oh." Kata and Izuku muttered, knowing exactly what would ensue.

"I'M NOT SHORT, I'M JUST VERTICALLY CHALLENGED YOU INCOMPETENT IGNORAMOS!!!" she shouted, charging at high speeds unbeknownst to her... She ended up at the edge of town , before she realized she should probably head back.

"BAKUGOU KATSUKI, YOUR SO IN FOR IT NOW!" she yelled.

"OH, CRAP!" Bakugou panicked as he started blasting himself away from the vicinity of the small girl. Kata, Izuku and the other's sweat dropped at the overall scene. Then things got interesting. The young Faida went to grab the boy and ended up sending out neon sparks.

And that's how Bakugou got his hair style. Just kidding, he ended up getting slammed into a nearby tree from the shockwave. "Ahh, I'm so so sorry I didn't mean to do that! Well, I'm not sorry for everything just the lighting shockwave thing that just happened..." she rambled, until a certain deer boy covered her mouth.

"Chill out Faida, we get it."  Gaikan chuckled.

"Hmm me." was all anyone heard.

"Alright," Kata continued, removed his hand from Kaede's mouth. "Bakugou, you crossed a line there. Even after we warned you. Sooo..." with a snap of his fingers a pair of donkey ears appeared on his head. "Thanks to my quirk, that's your punishment. And it'll last until your mom calls you for supper." Kata scolded as a pair of donkey ears sprouted from Bakugou's head

"Tch, whatever." Bakugou grumbled, face red. Kata was the kind of guy who'd look out for his friends no matter what. And Kaede admired him because he didn't let his differences hinder him from being who he was. Someone at the time, she wished she could be.

End of flashback

'I wonder where he went off to, too Izuku.' Kaede sighed.

"Hey Kaede, can you give me a hand with this truck?" Izuku strained to ask.

"I'll try, but I don't think we'll get very far. But we can still give it a shot!" she grinned. A few moments later they face planted in the sand. "Okay, now I'm determined. We are going to move this truck is halfway off the beach!"

"I'm with you, but can you dim the fire in your eyes down a few notches. It's a little freaky." Izuku sweat dropped.

"Alright, let's do this!" Izuku and Keade cried as they started to push the truck with as much strength as they could muster. And it started moving, All Might even started getting into it and started cheering for them. It was quite a hilarious spectacle.

"Yes, you can do it Faida, Midoriya! Keep moving forward, towards the future!" the hero cried in enthusiasm.

It took a lot of restraint for Kaede not to laugh at her uncle, and a lot more focus to make sure the truck didn't make its way back down the beach. They got halfway there before it got stuck in a sand dune. However, it definitely wasn't going anywhere.

"Ahhh ha haaa, we got it halfway!" Kaede shouted, glowing with glee.

"Heck yeah we did!" Izuku high fived her as they celebrated. 'Looks like your well on your way to being heroes.'  Toshinori thought grinning proudly at his disciples. "Alright, that's enough for today. Go home and rest up, you have school tomorrow."

"No way! I'm not stopping until we get this thing all the way off the sand!" Kaede shouted in determination.

Izuku nodded in agreement as they went back to work.

'Or they may overwork themselves before they even have a chance to take the exam.' Toshinori mentally face palmed.
