Rejection

I never knew we'd fall apart

That you were going to break my heart

I've cried so many tears

Wishing you were here

I never thought you'd say goodbye...

There's an emptiness inside that grows with every step I take.

You were my map, my compass, my guide.

We fell apart and now nothing seems right.

My heart was out for all to see but it never meant anything.
