I had asked Gina and Nathan to find a home in the UK while Dasom goes through her treatments. I am planning on staying here until she is fully recovered. Haejin had mentioned that we should stay in the UK for at least a year. He stated that if she keeps up with the progress she has now, it is possible she'll be able to go home in a week or two.
Dasom was asleep at the moment and I was outside in the hall because I was waiting for Nathan and Gina to return. I look up and see Haejin down the hall. He raised his hand saying hi as he walks off with a couple of other doctors. I say hi and sigh. I was relieved that she was recovering. That meant that we made much more progress than when we were in Korea. I've been on and off calls the whole time we've been here. My parents were worried for her and my company was quite lost without me physically there. My father stepped in and helped me out while I'm gone. Dasom's popularity rate went through the roof right now in Korea. She's made many headlines and there is even a trending hashtag on Twitter going around, I believe it's #getbettersoonDasom. I thought it was very sweet. A lot of pictures of her and I have been all over the news and magazines. She really is a popular figure that's loved by many.
I felt a sudden presence and I look up to see Nathan and Gina. They smile down at me. Gina hands me a folder. Nathan grins and signals me to open it. I open the folder and my eyes widen. I look up at them shocked. They found a house with most of the things Dasom has wanted in a house.
"How did you guys find this house?"
"We couldn't have done it without the help of google to be completely honest. Also the owner of the house is willing to sell it to you. We already gave him the down payment." Nathan mentions.
"Thank you, both of you." I smile.
They nod and give me a warm smile. Haejin walks on over with a doctor.
"Taehyung, this is John Hawkins. He alongside me will be in charged of Sommy's treatments and recovery. John, this is Kim Taehyung, my brother in law."
"Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Kim." John reaches out to shake my hand.
"The pleasures mine." I shake his hand.
Both of them discuss with me what will be needed and done so Dasom makes a full recovery and that in approximately ten days she will be able to check out of the hospital. I tell Haejin about the house, Nathan and Gina found, he was happy to know that I would be taking his advice on staying until we make sure Dasom is one hundred percent recovered. I head back inside the room and close the door slowly to not startle Dasom.
"Bubba? Is that you?"
I turn around and eyesmile with a nod.
"Yes, my love?"
"Gina had mentioned you had some news to tell me. Nathan also brought us some food. I hope you like it, I asked him to bring it for you. Have you eaten already?"
I go to her and sit on the bed. She sits up and pulls me close to her. She buries her face in my chest and sighs.
"I haven't hugged you in a while. I missed your touch." She whispers.
Embracing her to my chest, I place a chaste kiss on her head and smile. She's just so angelic. What would I ever do without her? Rubbing soft circles on her back, she peeks up at me and smiles.
"Haejin said that we would be staying here in the UK for a while, is that true?"
I nod.
"Was this your decision or his?"
"We both took part in the decision."
She lays her head on my chest and closes her eyes. Her arms wrap around my torso and she breathes out softly.
"What would I ever be without you, Tae? You're my everything."
Glancing down at her, a huge bright smile appears on my face and I could help but feel incredible. Her words always seem to make me feel full of love and a feeling of being in the right place, like this is where I belong. By her side and her by mine. I shut my eyes and enjoy this moment with her.
"How did this happen? How long have they been like this! Nobody planned on telling me sooner?!"
