Chapter 9

 

Liam's POV

Everything is back to normal, and it's amazing. Zayn and I are actually really good friends, though there are times that I feel he wants to be more than that, but he knows I'm with Niall, so I don't let it bother me. Louis and Harry are going extremely well, always texting, even through class. I told Harry to stop texting once in my class and he death stared me until I was basically a corpse shrivelled up 6 feet under.

And then there's Niall. No doubt the best aspect of my life. Every day,  he just gets more and more perfect, that I've stopped being surprised when I figure out he's even more incredible than I thought. Everyday, Niall and I text and phone each other, non stop and every 'x' he adds to the end of a text just brings a smile to my face and cause my heart to swell in adoration of the boy.

The bell rang, signalling that the next class is about to begin. I watched as the students began to trickle in, sharing a small smile with Zayn and Harry as they entered. The class went normally, today we were out on the oval playing football, or soccer as the rest of the students call it, and everyone was just having fun, mucking around.

Harry was running around like a maniac, making everyone laugh, but he was actually quite a good football player. I'm surprised. Zayn would occasionally kick the ball when he wasn't laughing at Harry. It was so cute. All I could think about was that I wish Niall was here. As if on cue, My phone vibrated in my pocket

What is that crazy leprechaun talking about? I turned around and sure enough, there was a head of blonde hair flying across the oval to me, arms outstretched and a massive grin on his face. By the time I had registered what was happening, he had reached my and was in my arms, with his lips pressed against mine. Before we got carried away, I pulled back from his addictive lips and reminded him, and myself, that we were at school and I probably shouldn't be kissing him in front of my students.

When we pulled back, I looked around my class, and saw two thirds of the class watching us happily, some of the girls cooing, the other third looking vaguely disgusted. I blushed as they all started shouting questions at us "Is this your boyfriend Mr Payne?" "How long have you two been together?" and Harry shouted "Can I be best man at the wedding?", starting another round of questions "Are you getting married?" "When's the wedding?" "can I come?". I smiled at them all and shook my head at Harry "Thanks for that Styles. I'll be sure to let Lou know you're so interested in weddings"
