On a journey to California that took for about 3 hours, public property and buildings are damaged. Some of them are on fire. And the zombies, their number are increasing every seconds.
"You good?" Clyde asks as he saw my head nod repeatedly. "Yeah, just feel tired" I looked up at him with my sleepy eyes. Then he gripped my head and slowly placed it on his shoulder. I didn't refuse cause it feels warm and comfort laying by his side.

My eyes try to adjust with the steaming light as I woke up, I turned my head to the left to see Clyde falling deep in his sleep. "Want me to drive?" I asked my brother, who has been driving for one hour and half now. "No thanks, you might kill us anyway" He chuckled as he searching for frequency on the radio.
"The radio's working?" I asked, doubting him. "We won't know unless we try" He claims, continue pressing on the button.
"At-Attention, this is an emergency line. People are advised to find a safe place to take refuge. At this moment, California is said to be among places that is unaffected by the things the government figured as zombie apocalypse. Meanwhile, other places around the east are badly affected. Please be-be s-sa-"
The radio works for a moment and next it's no longer working. "Although the place's safe, we won't know what will come next" Marline speaks up. "Right, what do we do?" I ask. "We need to be extra careful" She answers.
"Ahhh..I heard something, what was it?" Clyde that was just woke up, asks as he stretches and stifles a yawn. "The radio is working. It said that California aren't effected..which is pretty good?" I explained, receiving a nod of understanding from him.
I look around as our vehicle went through a long road of vast fields and noticed a spot where 20-30 zombies gathered. "Why were they standing in one exact place?" I asked, breaking the silence.
