"Wait what does that mean?" I ask.
~~~
"It means that your father and brother didn't really have a choice to go into war so they basically got forced to fight in the war to fight with America & South to help stop communism."
"What?!" I say. I try not to stress but by now I'm basically screaming.
"It can't be, this isn't fair, I don't get it," I say.
"I know it's hard, but you just have to stay calm and everything will be alright," says Elizabeth. I calm myself down making it hard for them to talk because my breathing is so loud that I can barely hear myself.
"Ok," I say, taking a deep breath.
"Why are you in my house anyway," I ask.
"Oh we needed to take cover from the bombs, It's very dangerous out there you know?" says Kim.
"Yeah and even these people tried to take us a way to an orphanage, we barely escaped with our lives," says Elizabeth giving a nervous face.
"Well we need to find my Dad," I say.
"But how? For all we know he could have already passed away," says Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth!!!" shouts Kim smacking Elizabeth on the head.
"Hey what was that for?" Elizabeth asks Kim, while rubbing her head in agony. I saw Kim and Elizabeth whispering to each other again. This time it makes me feel frustrated.
"Sky about your dad and brother they aren't dead. It's just I got too overwhelmed that they are going to war," Elizabeth says. I swear in that split second, that I saw a little guilty grin on her face, but I wonder why.
"She started talking funny because of what was going on," said Kim.
"Errrr, I don't get what you're talking about," I say trying not to looked confused.
"Doesn't matter about that what I'm really talking about is---."
"That she means that we should get out of here because the people from the orphanage are going to try and take us to that disgusting and horrid place," interrupted Kim.
"Ok well what are we waiting for, we need to get out of this place" I say, giving everyone a nod. So Kim, Elizabeth and I run out trying not to let anyone see us. We all had know idea where we were going.
"Maybe we should ask someone," Kim says.
We start running to the wharf anyway. But as soon as we get there we hear loud gunshots. I try to block my ears again but then suddenly a bullet hits Elizabeth. It was a sniper. Me and Kim both fall back into a boat as a bullet goes straight passed us. We could both hear the stabbing pain against our ears. It was horrible. I could still hear the bullet. As we fall into the boat. The boat starts to move.
