"Ok thanks very much," Kim says politely. After the man walks away we both try to think of who we should talk to? Where we could stay? What can we do? Then suddenly a woman walks up to us and drags us away, puts us in a car with two other kids.

~~~
We drive off.
"Where are we?" I say trying not to look puzzled. The other kids don't answer. We all sit there in silence. We try to talk to the lady but she doesn't listen. After a few minutes of silence we finally arrive. As we enter the gates we see a sign that says Bourke Street orphanage.
"Hey you can't take us to this orphanage, we have parents you know," Kim shouts at the lady but she still doesn't speak. The car stops at the dark gloomy building with a few crows on top. The lady opens the door for us and drags us away once again into the building.
We get to the reception listening to every word the lady says.
"I found a few more maggots on the way to the grocery store," the lady says.
"What are their names?" The man asks.
"What are your names?!" the lady shouts at us.
"Kim," Kim says seemingly annoyed.
"And my name is Sky."
The lady is still grabbing on to us. I can see the man checking off our names as we walk away. We start walking up the red carpet stairs. We walk all the way to the top as we stop at a door. The lady opens the door and pushes us into a room with two beds and a lamp.
"This will be your room, I suspect you to be good for the night!" The lady says trying to be as mean as possible.
She closes the door and locks it.
