(Hunter's P.O.V.)

I flew around trying to find her and knew that she was in pain. I sensed that she was near and in pain and afraid. I heard a rustle and a whimper as I came near a clearing. I walked closer and stopped when I saw her curled in ball and covered in scars. She was absolutely naked but she was beautiful. I felt the pull of the mate wanting me to claim her but I knew she needed time.

(Elizabeth's P.O.V.)

I heard a rustle as something came towards me and curled myself into a ball. It hurt but I had to I didn't know what was coming. I whimpered as I felt the pull of my new cuts that I had gotten when I attacked Bucky. I smelled something intoxicating and inhaled deeply trying to memorize it. I felt a pull as something came closer and I shifted just a little to get farther away from the intruder. I heard someone enter the clearing and gasp as he saw me. I felt a strong pull towards him and saw that the smell was coming from him. I wanted him and I knew he wanted me.

(Hunter's P.O.V.)

When I saw that she was covered in scars I growled in anger, and she jumped in fear. When she jumped I calmed down because I didn't want to scare her. I walked towards her slowly so she didn't jump and move away. I looked down at her and said, "Hello, I'm Hunter. Do you need some help? I can get you somewhere safe. Would you like that, honey?" I was glad I had brought a blanket with me so I could cover her up. She looked at me and nodded. I scooped her up after I had wrapped the blanket around her. I felt her relax as soon as she was in my arms, and knew that she was safe. I had found her, and she was terrified.
