•Jeff•

"Abed, what do you think happened?" Jeff asked curiously. The group was refusing to study until Abed said what the hell he was thinking, inviting the detectives from Santa Barbra.

"I think that... Simply put, I think he was murdered. And I know, you know. It's just a..."

"An instinct?" Troy asked, shifting in his seat.

Abed nodded.

"Well, I've got a theory." Annie said assertively.

"Shoot it, kiddo." Jeff smiled at the young girl.

"Maybe, like Abed said, he was murdered. And the murderer was one of his customers."

"That's too--"

"Can it, Abed." Jeff frowned at Annie and furrowed his brow. "Can you think of anything more... Specific than that?"

"Starburns... Ah... Wasn't making any... You know... So his client blew the car up?"

"Genius! Abed, you can--crap."

"What's the matter, Jeffery?" Shirley asked innocently.

"Yeah," Britta added. "You cracked the case--oh..."

"What are you two on?" Pierce asked, completely out of the conversation again.

"None of Starburns' meth. Did I just say that?"

"Jeff! We need a suspect." Annie said eventually. The idea had only just struck her, and the rest of the group.

Jeff nodded. "So we find one. Abed, call your friend."

Abed saluted and dialled Shawn's number.

•Shawn•

"Hello." Shawn said into his phone.

"Hey," Abed said. "We have a theory on how Starburns died."

"Cool, what is it? Also--is that guy's name really Starburns?"

"No, it's Alex Osbourne, but his sideburns were shaved into stars. Our theory--or Annie's theory--"

"Annie?"

"The pretty, young, and quite frankly intimidating brunette?"

"You hear that?" Shawn could make out on the phone. "Abed called me pretty."

"Right, her. Sorry, go on with your theory."

"Well, she has a theory that Starburns wasn't alone when he died. She thinks that he was trying to work his way out of a deal, so he explained to all of his clients that he couldn't supply them anymore. That was fine with all of them because they had other resources--except for one person."

"Who's the person?"

"We don't know."

Shawn hit his head against the doorframe. He didn't know who, either. It would take a lot of time, a lot of witnesses...

Except he was supposed to know this, since he was a 'Psychic.'

"Okay, well we'll keep looking. Thanks for the update, Abed."
