"So, with that said, Kate you may go home!" Dr.Campbell gave the news I've been dying to hear.
He shook mine and Riker's hands and left the room.
Riker looked back at me and smiled his warm, inviting smile.
I smiled back, as I stood up and started towards the door.
Riker coughed, and I turned around.
"What?" I asked, and cocked my head.
He smiled, and walked towards me and picked me up.
I giggled and pressed my nose against his.
He spun me around and around.
I thought to myself, "this is the happiest I've been since I was born."
I was so thrilled to be out of the hospital.
I was so happy that I could finally live a stress free life with Riker and Rosie.
"Guess what?" Riker whispered, his nose still pressed against mine.
"What?"
"I love you." He whispered, and smiled his to die for smile.
"I love you too." I whispered back, as I looked from his eyes to his lips.
He did the same, and softly pressed his lips to mine.
I couldn't help but smile through our warm kiss.
But my smile soon faded as his lips quickly pulled away, and a gun shot ringed throughout the hallways.
Riker looked straight into my eyes, with fear.
I gasped, and realized something.
"Rosie."
