Under Me (Chapter 9)

*Rikers Thoughts*

It was three months ago when I left.

I'm not really sure why I did.

I mean, I did scream at my two year old daughter, but that's not a reason to run away.

I was just being stupid. Stupid 19 year decisions are the worst.

Anyways, I'm in Colorado now, I've moved on from Kate.

I don't want anything to do with that little bi tch.

*Riker's POV*

I was sitting in the dandelion field in my hometown.

She didn't see me sitting, so she tripped right over me, and we both tumbled over each other.

I was on top of her, holding her tight.

I lifted my head up and opened my eyes, to see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen laying underneath me.

As she opened up her eyes, and untangled herself from me, I saw that she had gorgeous blue eyes, and long blonde hair.

"Sorry. I'm a bit clumsy." She smiled, giggling.

"Oh, it's alright. I like it when pretty girls fall on me." I smirked, my flirt instinct kicking into gear.

We finally looked straight into each other's eyes, and before I knew it, my lips were on her's.

I heard footsteps, and a loud gasp.

I took my lips from this new girl, and turned my head to see Kate standing there.

"R-Riker?" Kate stuttered, tears falling from her eyes, all the way to the dandelions, watering them.

"Kate, listen. Let me exp-." I was cut off by her screaming at me.

"How could you? You were the only thing I had left! My mom has been gone for years, and my so called father doesn't even give a shi t about me! Oh yeah, and remember your child? The child that WE created? What about her? You know what, I've been searching for you for three months, trying to find our daughters father, and, well, I'm not even sure what to call YOU! Fu ck you, you son of a bi tch!" She cried, balling her eyes out.

10 minutes ago, I wouldn't of cared about how she was feeling right now, but now isn't 10 minutes ago.

"Y-You have a child? And that's your girlfriend? Get away from me!" The girl under me said as she rushed away.

"Kate. Look I'm-."

"No Riker. Come back when your ready to be a real dad, and a person." Kate said as she stormed off to her car, driving away, but I could still see her car down the road.

The next thing that happened wasn't something that I ever would've expected.
