"Ryder, Rosie! It's time for breakfast!" I yelled from the small dining room, the glass chandelier holding swiftly overtop of my small, dainty head.

All of a sudden, screams could be heard all throughout the home.

I laughed, shaking my head, as I followed the echoing screams.

I stopped in my tracks, smiling.

"Ahhh! I got you!" Riker yelled as he tickled our two children.

"No! D-Daddy! S-S-Stopp!" Our 5 year old son, Ryder screeched.

"Daddy!" Rosie laughed.

They were both amazing kids, I loved both of them so much, it's unbelievable.

And of course, Riker. We've been married for about 4 years now. Gosh, I love him half to death.

"Mommy!" Rosie squealed. "Help!" Ryder yelled.

Riker stopped tickling them, and looked at me.

"Why good morning beautiful." He spoke, gently putting the kids down.

"Good morning, handsome." I smiled as he pressed his lips onto mine.

I kissed back, setting my hands down on his cheeks while his hands were placed on my hips.

"EW! Yuck!" Ryder and Rosie squealed, covering each others eyes.

We laughed and looked at each other.

"Our kids are crazy." He said chuckling.

"Yeah, I wonder where they get that from?" I said poking his chest.

He playfully rolled his eyes. He suddenly shouted, "ROSIE! RYDER! MOMMY MADE PANCAKES! LETS GOOOO!"

The kids uncovered their eyes and bolted to the dining room with my husband.

I walked to the dining room and sat in my chair next to Riker, firmly holding his hand.

"Delicious breakfast, baby girl." Riker spoke, setting his hands on my hips, hugging me from behind.

I blushed when he called me baby girl. "Thank you, glad you liked it."

We both stared at our children as they played hide and go seek tag, running all over the place in the gorgeous backyard.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear.

"I love you more."

"I love you most." He finished.

I smiled and looked back at our kids, thinking of what a wonderful life this world has offered me, until Rosie and Ryder fell to the ground, bullets in the back of their precious little heads.

Me and Riker looked up at the man who just shot our children, and I was terrified.

I thought I'd never see him again. Well boy was I wrong.
