I roll over and turn of my alarm. 6:25. I unlock my phone and scroll through instagram for a bit before another alarm pops up on my screen. 6:35. I close instagram and open up messages. I tap on Finns name and send just a plain old smiley face, it's weird but it's our thing.

I wait a few minutes before deciding he is probably sleeping and turning off my phone. I lie in bed staring at the ceiling as I listen to the rain against the window. *Ding!* my phone makes a sound and I roll back over to look at it.

Finn and I have been friends for ages, longer that Maddie and Grace as well.
We have really similar personalities and text each other for hours and hours a day but we never really speak in person because we both have terrible social skills and don't want to embarrass ourselves by just being awkward.
The funny thing is, I used to be friends with all of his friends and that's how I actually met him. But his friends decided they didn't like me and kicked me out of the groupchat I had with them. I was really sad because I just felt lonely and they were my only friends but Finn would still talk to me.
I really like Finn. He is so cute and sweet and he actually cares about me a lot. But he doesn't like me back. Why would anyone like me? My hair is so long and messy, I am so socially awkward that I barely talk to anyone other than Noah and I can pinch my body. My moms old friend once came up to me before pinching my thigh and told me I was fat and that if "you can pinch it, you're fat." She is a bitch and mom isn't friends with her anymore.
I look back to my phone and see that Finn was trying to get my attention.
