you were the cold wind on a sunny day
the sad songs that played when it rained
the wind chimes hung out on my porch
the welcome mat outside my door
the fireflies in my backyard
the comforting naps when life got hard
the rustling leaves on an autumn day
the comforting words my mother would say
the crescent moon in a cloudy sky
when i felt low, you were my high
the wind that taught the tree's to dance
you were the boy who never gave me a chance
